Other people can impact your mindset greatly. Sure, technically in the end you decide, but in the end, it's also your environment. I agree with Suhyun though.
@@JustinK0 well having low self-esteem isn't the same as having depression. Depression is a mental illness caused by many things and can be very hard to get through and over come. Many people need medication and therapy. But yes, low self-esteem often accompanies and worsens it. It's not something that is cured by a simple change in mindset. And sustaining a change in mindset is difficult in itself anyway, let alone with depression.

I just realized something from this interview. She is very matured for her age and very smart. She is cute without even trying. Everything about her is genuinely kind. She is a good person. She portrays good example to teenager and other ages too. Im sooo proud of watching Suhyun grow up being a good person, from watching her from Kpop Star up to this moment. 😊 i want a daughter like her 😊😍 her parents must be soooo proud.

One of my favorite things about Suhyun is how confident she is. She doesn't really have the face of a typical idol, partially because she was signed on from an audition show rather than as a trainee, and I thought that she would be insecure about it (not because she's not pretty, but just from not fitting that specific look), but the way she's happy as herself makes me feel better, not just because I also don't fit the Korean standards (monolids, low nose bridge, etc), but also just her presence is like Vitamin D and not only cheers me up but makes me feel more solid

I would love to see more representation of traditional Korean looks and such rather than what a lot of the societal standards are. After a while, it gets boring to see all these idols with such varied features get made to look similar. I think suhyun is really refreshing because of this, and I think you should be proud of your looks (even though it sounds like you already are!) 💗
If I'm not mistaken, AKMU's contract was edited to say that they will not have cosmetic surgeries done.... Like they requested that clause to be added in.
Akmu, to me has always been the group that feels like home.
