Actually for me, GFRIEND surpassed the definition of an idol in Korea. I mean, personally, I think an idol should possess all this kind of talent or ability to be called a true "idol" or "artist" instead of just giving each other a title or role in the group specifically. In GFRIEND's case, I loved how they are equally talented. Yes, some may be greater at singing or dancing but we can't deny that all of them can excel in those categories individually. And that's what makes me think that they are the best girl group of third-gen kpop

Unrelated but I’m glad that buddies appreciate the soft voice. I remember how in 2ne1 haters often picked on Dara for her soft voice as if it’s a weakness. Of course Umji and Dara are different, but I’m glad buddies support her and her voice a lot. I love Umji’s rendition if this song.
