Alin and Kate share our kimchi-obsession, and our desire to share it world-wide - so they developed the kimchi we used in our menu specifically to be as accessible as possible - perfect one-portion sizes without having to worry about storing and stinking out the rest of your fridge!

이 댓글을 영국남자 크루분들이 볼 수 있을지 모르겠지만 혹시 보신다면! ㅇㅇ토스트집 알바 일년한 경험으로 알려드릴게요! 양배추는 조금 더 얇게 썰어야 특유의 쓴맛은 덜하면서 단맛이 나요! 기계도 있고 얇게 썰리는 채칼도 있으니 시도해보셔요!! 또 양배추를 올릴때 주먹으로 주먹밥 쥐듯이 손 안에서 굴리다가 올리면 떨어지는 양배추 양도 적고 보기에 훨씬 깔끔하답니다!

As a chef who’s opened a few restaurants I can honestly say that these guys killed it. They did it smart, just a few items, done really well. As first days go you couldn’t have asked for much better than that. Kudos.

People there are lucky they will get to Try a good representation of Korean Toast without travelling! Congratulations! And everyone literally loved it. As Koreans living in England, they probably really don’t get much chance or places where they can eat food that tastes like home to them. Must have felt so nostalgic and comforted, tasting something that you had back at home! Specifically the students who are studying in the UK and probably lives by themselves.

Seeing more Asian food been accepted else where brings a smile to my face. I absolutely loved Korean food and been a Singaporean, I am thankful our country is diverse with different culture and my tongue readily accepts food from the each corners of the earth.

When they open restaurants at least in city's in the UK other than London that would be a reall achievement. Of course a restaurant will do well in LONDON.
It was so heart warming to see people trying it for the first time and loving it, and then also seeing the Korean people eating it and you can just tell it brought back memories by the looks on their faces. So proud of you guys for opening the restaurant ❤️

First, your family and friends are lovely.
Second, when I saw that the high school boys would be on next week, I was immediately excited. They are some of my favorite guests to your channel.
Third, I can't even imagine what a taste of home that must be for the guests who are from Korea.
Fourth, I am, once again, craving kimchi. It is now an inevitable part of my experience with your channel.
And lastly, Gabie is a hero. Gabie, you are amazing beyond words, and your support is, I have no doubt, one of the only reasons this actually happened.
I bet all the Koreans that were able to try this were reminiscing while eating the toast and were very happy. It’s hard to be away from your home country but when you came across food like this that makes you feel at home it makes everything better. Congrats! I wish I could try it lol everything looked delish.

My cheeks actually hurt from smiling for 16 minutes straight. This is so wholesome- you guys, the food and the people who joined you all along. I am glad you are able to do all of this and just spread so much happiness. As someone who has broadened her palette with sushis and things like that, you guys need to bring this Korean toast over to the United States. Seriously I'm drooling. I've watched this video so many times and it doesn't get old and it just makes me want Korean toast that much more. And all of the ingredients that you have for making this I love so all the better.
Um....it's already here. A lot of big cities will have it, especially in their Little Korea Town district if they have one. Korean food is taking off here in the US. Here in Oregon we even have a place serving Mexi-Korean Fusion. (Seriously, Korean burritos are bomb.)

Josh and Ollie … this was the perfect thing for you. You guys are the most naturally hospitable and genuinely amazing people you can come by. You carry conversation with people and show genuine interest in everyone. Your ability to connect with your audience and spread knowledge and enjoyment about something you love yourself is perfect. The food looks so good I am dying right now because I don’t have anything in front of me. This entire project and the success of it makes me very happy.
The thing is, I'm not even Korean or British. But both South Korea and England have always been my favorite countries since I was in elementary school. So this channel existence itself is a miracle to me because it's like the two of them combined, full of the things I love. I'm so happy that Josh and Ollie are able to make it this far. Food is indeed the most common and easiest language everyone can speak of. Truly hope this new business can also be a beautiful bridge for South Korea and England like what you've always done in this channel♡

Yaassss soju cocktails! in LA we can buy soju in 1.75 liter bottles ㅋㅋㅋ so it's replaced vodka for us in a lot of ways at home. I recommend the different flavored Calpico as an alt for the Milkis. You can also try yakult and also with the different flavored makgeolli! With banana flavored makgeolli, it basically makes an adult "banana milk" :P
omg i had 1/3 of lychee soju with milkis its so good. HIGHLY reccommend
Chest nut makgeolli is the way to go. Always sold out in AU though.

10여년전에 이삭토스트 2년 정도 운영 한적 있는데 그때 생각이 나네유...
기본 10개에서 많게는 30개까지 학원이나 직장인들 간식으로 단체 주문이 상당히 자주 들어오던 편이라 막 몰아칠 때는 눈앞이 캄캄... 배달 보내고 난 후엔 진짜 모든걸 다 태운 느낌 ㅋㅋㅋ
덕분에 벨소리만 들려도 심장이 벌렁거리고 내가 이짓을 왜하고 있나 싶을 정도로 힘들때도 많았는데
그래도 하교시간에 학생들이 맛있다 맛있다 하는 소리 들으면 뿌듯하고 그랬었쥬 ㅋㅋㅋ
토스트를 좋아하긴 했지만 등떠밀려서 갑작스레 시작했던 일인데다 올리만큼 토스트에 대한 진한 애정도 없어서 더 힘들게 느껴졌었던 듯...
토스트에 대한 애정만으로 연구 끝에 토스트 집을 한다니 정말 대단한 것 같네요.

I am so incredibly proud of this family. The have literally acted upon their dreams and are living it right now. It was a huge gamble to open this restaurant out of nowhere, but they will be so successful. I sincerely wish that I lived in London because I would love to try this food out for myself. Gabie remains an absolute legend and culinary queen. What would we do without her???
