- Today we finally took my Mum out for Korean BBQ, for her last meal in Korea. It was really a very special time, and we’re really happy with how it turned out. It’s definitely been more personal and intimate than most of our series, but it was a real joy to be able to share that side of our lives with you as I share Korea with my Mum! I hope you all enjoyed the series, thank you so much for all of your support and your incredibly kind words. It really means a lot to us all!
We’re sad to see the series come to an end... but this Saturday Ollie and I get out of Seoul for a bit of fun, so stay tuned for more videos!!

Maureen's eyes, shiny and full of love while talking about being able to relive it whenever she likes. That is so special. I hope my son loves me as much as Josh loves his mum when hes all grown and on his own. Making me cry over here guys!
Fueled by cannabis and anxiety

@@katesmith5664 I have no side effects. For me it is my medicine and so much safer than pharmaceutical alternatives. I am in a legal state so I am able to purchase through reputable dispensaries and I can see that it's been tested for anything that could be harmful. I am able to function as an adult and mother when I use cannabis. The pills make me a zombie and I cannot be the person I am meant to be. My anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms are all but gone most of the time, unless I encounter a trigger. I encourage anyone to do their own research and make their own decisions, but I advocate for safe, responsible cannabis use for medical and recreational purposes. It has changed my life, and the future is bright for the first time in forever. Good luck!

It was wonderful to see the Mother & Son relationship. I thought it was amazing to also see those moments when she stepped out of the role of Mum and you could see the girl experiencing something about the world for the first time. Genuinely Touching.

It's good to see a son and his mother have such a great relationship. Many of us do not, and it's a bitter/sweet thing to see those who truly do. Cherish it if you are fortunate to have it.

This has probably been my favourite series you guys have made. Those scenes in the early episodes where there's no music, just Josh and Ollie being vulnerable and talking about Josh's worries and hopes for his mom to enjoy this trip, it really showed how genuine and beautiful this channel is. Thanks for your hard work Korean Englishman crew!

This series always made up my day. It will be always the first thing I'll watch after classes. The series was so satisfying to watch and it inspires me more to be a good daughter so that one day I could do like this to my mom.

사실: 조선은 법으로 소고기를 특별한 경우를 제외하면 먹을 수 없게 했다. 하지만 대부분의 사람들은 신분과 관계없이 법을 피해 몰래 몰래 먹었다. 조선왕조실록을 보면 지겨울 정도로 소고기를 몰래 먹는 사람들과, 그 사람들을 단속하는 관리들에 대한 이야기가 나온다.

그냥 벌금 몇푼 물거나 뇌물주고 소 잡았다고 하죠. 큰 잔치 할 일이 있거나, 소가 충분히 있는 부농들의 경우에는 소 잡는게 큰 문제가 되지도 않았고.

I love all this so much. My oldest brother moved to Korea when I was a teenager. After graduated highschool back in the day my mother and I went to spend some time with him. It was amazing being able to learn the culture and enjoy the food like this - really reminds me of my mom and my brother. He was soooo excited to show her (and me of course) everything !

하나는 뼈가붙어있는 우리가 아는 돼지갈비
하나는(뼈가없는것) 우리가 아는 갈비양념에 재운 목살(목전지)입니다.
