My mum loves seafood. And so today we take my mum to a Korean Seafood market, and buy the biggest king crab I have ever seen!!!!
저희 엄마가 해산물을 정말 좋아하세요. 그래서 엄마를 모시고 한국 수산시장에 가서, 제가 본 것 중 제일 큰 킹크랩을 먹어봤어요!

I was stationed in S. Korea with the Army for 2 years. I went to the fish market in Noryangjin (second largest in the country at that time) and bought a King Crab, and 10 Tiger Prawns, some clams, and a couple squid.
I had to go and buy a large stock pot to boil the crab, and it STILL barely fit in the pot.
I boiled the crab (New England style with some crab boil seasoning).
I steamed 5 of the prawns and SCAMPI'ed the other 5.
I boiled the clams with the crab.
And I sliced and fried the squid.
All that with some potatoes I wedged, breaded, and fried like I did the squid rings.
Sooooo good! :-D

How much do you pay for something like boris, i need to fight boris when i got to korean this year

@@aliphetc expect to pay about a little over 200 dollars for a boris. It really depends on the seller and the season because in times where crab is in high demand you could pay over 300 for one. Prawns aren't too expensive you can get one of those for about 20 dollars. Snow crabs are about 30 to 40 dollars.

I feel blessed as an Alaskan and having easy access to king crab, and bairdi crab. King Crab has always been my favorite, i'd choose it over lobster. We also have some of the best and most fresh salmon in the world.

갑각의 진정한 참맛은 살이 아니라 내장이죠... 새우의 머리와 내장, 게의 내장.. 특히 황장 녹장 흑장 등등 중에서도 가장 일품인 진득한 황 내장에 게살 푹 찍어먹으면 이 세상 어떤 음식보다도 환상적인 맛이 남... 아 먹고 싶다 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Great series! I’m glad your mom was good with trying the crab “tamale” as we call it in the states ( I imagine they call it that elsewhere as well ) too many people leave so much to be wasted when it comes to crustaceans. It’s also excellent on garlic toast.

The tamale is the BEST and most flavorful part! Koreans also do a garlic and soy sauce marinade with blue crab. Its marinaded raw and also eaten raw and its SO delicious. Taking the tamale out, and mixing it into very hot rice is an experience everyone should try. Especially so if they love seafood.

지저분하다 = 탈피를 안해 살집이 크다 랍스타는 크면클수록 비싸지니 가성비가 안맞습니다 1kg이 제일 적당합니다
