- Today we took our newly built Korean BBQ table, with our special charcoal grill, and brought it to an English football team to taste the wonders of some of the best Korean BBQ possible right after their training.
This was a real collision of worlds for us, and it was such a joy seeing how much the guys loved the food, even though it was so different to anything they had tried before!

I HONESTLY feel that the KoreanEnglishMen team NEEDS to get like a recognition award by the Korean Embassy in the UK for all the work they've been doing in England to spread Korean culture. Same here and I’m not even Korean. I honestly didn’t like kimchi when I first tasted it but because there’s still many left I just can’t waste it so after a couple of days I give it another chance and I’m surprised that I kinda liked it and from that day I’m always craving kimchi. I think it just takes time to like it 🤷♀️

I'm Romanian, grew up in Canada. Love kimchi. lol (Eastern Europe uses pickled cabbage to make pork cabbage rolls, so kimchi isnt really that foreign tasting, its just spicy)

If you ever find yourself in little old New Zealand one day, I’ll try and return the favour 😅 I’ve developed such a huge fascination and appreciation for South Korea so much this year, especially during quarantine. Beforehand, my knowledge of Korea was limited to just my practice in Taekwondo (so I know how to count in Korean). Your culture, history and strong sense of identity is truly awe inspiring and just through my recent discovery of KoreanEnglishmen has my interest in Korea grown exponentially. Also I recently tried proper Korean BBQ for the first time yesterday, and I can say, hand on heart, that the men’s reactions to the food in this video is absolutely accurate.

전 여기 미국에서 가끔 현지 친구들과 삼겹살, 소주 파티를 합니다. 처음엔 쌈을 싸서 먹는것에 약간 거부감을 일으켰지만 지금은 혹시라도 제가 김치를 안구워주면 난리가 납니다. 여긴 소주가 한병에 7불 정도로 비싸지만 본인들이 알아서 사옵니다. 얼마전에는 소맥을 타줬더니 아주 난리가 나더군요. 물론 코로나 이전에요. 지금은 자기 가족들과 알아서 해먹습니다. 단지 막걸리 구하기가 힘들고 비싸다고 투덜대죠.

맛있는 음식을 처음 맛볼때 너무 맛있어 놀라고 행복해하는 표정이 너무 보기 좋습니다.
특히 김치를 코오슬로에 비유한 분 입맛이 굉장합니다.
As a half korean I’ve been to korea to see my family and every time I go back home to france I miss korean bbq the most because you just cannot find this kind of meat in France and it will most likely be pricey because of exportation and the quality of the meat . I love your videos and I’m happy your showing Korea’s delicious food to the world :) !!
Same. But I have adapted my BBQ by looking for types of meat that are special here in Europe: for example the Black Iberian Pig. The Presa cut is heavily marbled and perfect for Korean BBQ. It's juicy and is void of the typical piggy smell.
If I want to switch it up a bit, I sometimes buy Wagyu from a local restaurant specializing in premium beef.
I'm not even Korean but looking at everyone's reaction I'm just so proud of Josh, Olly and the team for putting such high-quality effort into introducing Korean food (and Korea in general) to everyone. Food is the masterpiece of every country, while most people don't even think about trying different culture food, you guys have been offering properly prepared food and they fall in love every time! I always appreciate your work! Thank you guys so so much!!!!

What Josh and Oliie has done to make Korean food and culture to be so highly lauded and wanted especially in the West, cannot be denied. If anyone dares to look down on their work and dismiss them just because of some mistakes done in the past which were never intended to be malicious, those haters need to feel ashamed. I'm so glad Ollie and Josh are respectable and excellent men who pushed through, amidst the harsh, undeserved criticisms on them and even the people that they loved. Their recent humble but stronger comeback has proven that this YT platform they've made their home was truly made for such excellent creators as they are. @@delta8087 they do have Kbbq resturants in the UK. not the exact real deal, but damn close id assume. cant say for sure cuz im not from the UK, but judging from what we got in the States, itll be pretty similar except for the pricing.

My absolute favorite parts of the video were the actual squeals of joy coming from the football manager (the one who was reminded of his ex seeing the BBQ). You could _feel_ his excitement at the cooking and eating of the meat, I couldn't stop smiling!

Bought some lychee soju for New Year's Eve after having watched your channel for years, and am having it with jeon......holy hell does the soju go down way too easy. I am not sure how much I have drank of it 😂 Freaking delicious, though, all of it is. So glad I decided to dive into Korean food for New Year's, and can't wait to share this with friends and family! I usually eat Japanese food on holidays since I lived there for a bit as a child, but wanted to explore something new this year, and I'm in love 🥰

@@aduraedosa I agree, but we are in a small farming town in the US and it's not prevalent here. I grew up in a military family and miss the experiences of trying new foods and cultures. I have looked recently and about 2 hours away there is an Asian market,so I am making plans 😁

ㄹㅇ로다가 보통 국뽕채널은 극혐하는데 영국남자만은 인정함. 다른 채널에서는 외국인들이 오로지 장점들만 이야기하고 서양인들 특유의 직설적으로 싫으면 싫다 좋으면 좋다라는 자세가 보이지가 않음. 물론 사람이라는게 케바케니 서양인들도 그게 아닌사람들도 있겠습니다만, 국뽕채널은 그딴거 없음. 보면 손발오그리토그리 되는데 영국남자 게스트보면 싫으면 싫다고 표현하니까 되려 좋으면 좋다고 이야기하는게 확실히 느껴짐. 손님으로 초대받아서 어느정도 오바하는감이 느껴질때도 있지만 그래도 여타 국뽕채널과는 다르게 확실히 한국문화가 외국인들한테 어떻게 느껴지는지 알게되고 어떤식으로 소개하면 좋을지도 감이 오는거 같음. 레알 유익한 채널
