Agreed. Also to be honest, Ollie being "bad" at Korean doesn't even necessarily mean that he's bad at learning languages (or at learning Korean). He's just in a rather unique and, in my opinion, pretty difficult position of having heard loads of Korean words and not learning them in a structured way. This also probably makes most "lessons" boring to him, because he feels that he already knows it. I don't know how, or if he learns Korean outside of the "Jolly Korean lessons". "Learns" like in sits down with a book or a notebook and practices creating sentences. I feel like half of the "I'm bad at Korean" thing originates from a learning method that doesn't suit his natural learning style, or him not giving it enough attention.

He also managed to get people to buy his snickers when they were about to tell him to stop filming. In broken Korean. That is very impressive

I've started studying to work with learning disabilities and it's really sad because Dyslexia is a symptom of an actually highly creative and high functioning brain. It's very sad to me that dyslexic people often think they are stupid because the first thing they had to learn was more difficult for them than for anyone else, when they are usually actually smarter than people who can learn to read faster. They are thought of and therefore think of themselves as slow or stupid, while literally being brilliant. Ollie is such a great case cause he takes it lightly and makes fun of himself and gets back up. He really does seem brilliant, not to mention insanely creative. He has these crazy ideas and then makes them happen when most people would just laugh it off and move on to something easier.

really good points, glad to hear some raw truth. To be fair it must also be said, that maybe one reason that Josh was hard on Ollie is because he knows how smart Ollie can be. I think perhaps some people are also a bit intimidated by Ollie. Because he is such an honest and open person, and genuinely warm, whereas many people in the world and fake and lie often. Lying is easy, but being honest and authentic with others only takes a little more effort, and gives much more meaning to life and those you interact with.

True! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed some red flags in their friendship. While I'm pretty sure their friendship is genuine, I just wished that both can have equal opportunities in their friendship. Even the simple stuff, Ollie always had to do it and Josh would be there saying "You're an idiot" to Ollie. Another situation is when they made their own Korean grill, Ollie helped Gordon build it while Josh is just there standing. And when they were eating and chatting with their wives, Ollie mentioned to Gabie that he sand the table himself, to which, Josh replied that Ollie was so bad at it that Gordon has to take over. I just think that if I haven't partaken in the activity, I wouldn't insult those who actually did. The insult was just unnecessary even for a best friend. Why can't he just completely praise him.
