My theory is from the lyrics and certain details in the MV. She became obsessed with him, with him reciprocating her love and he just wouldn't. She wants him to kiss her, she wants him to miss her, to feel the same way she does but she knows the truth. "Will you feel the same way as me? I already know the answer to that." She feels despair and longing for something that will never come true. "Why don't you give me a call? Even though you notice, my shaky voice, you pretend to be clueless and change the subject." She feels desperate and comes to a conclusion. To end this obsession and to do so was to kill him. The blue roses represent unrequited love and for the first part of the video she's constantly looking at them, can't take her gaze off them. At 1:12 she is on the phone but no one is on the other line as she sings "why don't you give me a call?" Afterward, she's putting on makeup as if she thinks the reason he doesn't like her is that she's not pretty enough. Her attire drastically changes from lilac to black. Lilac symbolizes innocence and tranquillity. As he enters the scene(1:51) she goes back to lilac as if she's putting on a front, as if him being near her is all it takes to bring tranquillity into her life. It's then when she says "Will you feel the same way as me? I already know the answer to that." as if she came to a realization. She staged his death and kept his skull as a candle holder. The skull with the red candles actually have meaning, "a red candle to make someone fall in love or to bring this person physically closer or farther away from you." and they are used for healing, "The skull candle is frequently used in healing mental or physical disorders of the mind and head." Sorry for this long theory but Kpop MV always fascinate me with the number of intricate details put into them.
Throughout the video, she's constantly experimenting with something and it shows she's into witchcraft. At one point she tried to poison him to make him love her(love potion). Skull candles are also another form of magic. The actor actually isn't mino, he's a completely different person because mino actually loves her, the actor doesn't. Mino is actually the schoolboy that's secretly in love with her but can't seem to confess his feelings. If it was mino he would be in the music video but he isn't. Last minor detail is the shading of the MV, at first it starts bright but with each new pannel it becomes constantly darker and dimmer; a representation of her mental state.

YG just doesnt promote WINNER just as much as his hiphop groups. It wasnt WINNER's choice. Why would a well established group not want to get promoted? That doesnt even make sense. Add to that the fact that the general public likes their music. Why then would YG not use that to their agency's advantage to promote the boys more? We all know why.

It's because he wants their artists to stay well and full of stamina. YG doesn't force their artists to do many stuff, it's their artists choice if they want to do activities. You can see how TOP and GD can enjoy their time in art, Seungyoon and Mino went to variety and broadcasting shows, even BP who did many commercial things but they still got good rest time. For comparison, you can see SM. It's not because I'm ygstan, I also like SM artists but look at their artists. How they treat exo nct and redvelvet. Exol is mad with sm for not promoting sehun and chanyeol cb, forcing taemin and baekhyun for joining SuperM, how many members got tired under SuperM but they still force their selves to smile in front of camera-_- bunch of complicated problems in nct, I respect nctzen who always support them as much as possible.
