Ok Aline Nguyen, I am AA female, who has just discovered KPOP. I like the beat, rap is good, but I can understand what people are talking about. Hip Hop and Rap came from the streets of the black community in the US. Out of the frustration of discrimination, racism, poverty, etc, etc. It is or was a life style. A positive expression of our frustration of living life in American. So so many artist are singing hip hop songs just to make money, they know nothing about the culture or origin of the music. Music can be a very spiritual thing. Maybe in your own country there are songs that are traditional that talks about oppression. Although some people don't believe we (black people) have a culture we do. In our culture we don't like fake people. That is why a lot of blacks say things like I am real!!! I speak the truth! etc. You speak the, truth, you live the truth. We do not believe in speaking sh** about people. If you do you have crossed the line and sh** will come back to you. If Dok2 is speaking their truth, good for them, but if that are just copying what they see it is fake.
Please understand I like the song, the beat is good!! Rap is good. I was explaining why "some" people may not like the song. Hip Hop and Rap came from the streets of the black community in the US. Out of the frustration of discrimination, racism, poverty, etc, etc. It is or was a life style. A positive expression of our frustration of living life in American. So so many artist are singing hip hop songs just to make money, they know nothing about the culture or origin of the music. Music can be a very spiritual thing. Maybe in your own country there are songs that are traditional that talks about oppression. Although some people don't believe we (black people) have a culture we do. In our culture we don't like fake people. That is why a lot of blacks say things like I am real!!! I speak the truth! etc. You speak the, truth, you live the truth. We do not believe in speaking sh** about people. If you do you have crossed the line and sh** will come back to you. If Dok2 is speaking their truth, good for them, but if that are just copying what they see it is fake.

Not that Dok2/The Quiett are smaller, but definitely more underground then mainstream. Unless most of KPOP fans watch SMTM, which I highly doubt because it's khiphop. Still all these producers/lyricists is just great for us fans, who want good music. Different variety.
