God, Eugene's presentation project is the story of my life: Think up a carefully elaborated idea for weeks but panic-rush the entire thing at the very last minute. I always thought he was the least ADHD-like of the guys but now I'm not sure lol

I feel like if Eugene and Matt got married they'd either have a very intimate wedding or a huge party. Maybe a mix with a small ceremony but a huge after party

I'm really missing hearing Ariel 😔 i am sad that due to Ned's actions she doesn't feel comfortable participating in the podcast. And also, I imagine she would have had some cool advice about weddings. That's being said, congrats to Maggie and Zach ❤️ sounds like you had a blast !

We also had a no cell phone rule. There is always someone who thinks it doesn’t apply to them, unfortunately. We had a lady who gifted us a photo album of all of the (blurry and not good) photos from her PHONE. One of the cell phone photos in the album was even of the sign that said “please no phones or cameras during the ceremony”. 🤦🏻♀️

Katie, I empathize with you and you’re right- people seem to think the rules don’t apply.
We also had a sign for no cellphones at our ceremony and no one listened. On top of that, the best man’s wife took pictures of our sessions with our wedding photographer and posted it on Facebook. I had to tell the MC to announce it during our reception to have those pictures taken down and mentioned that they could get sued because those were pictures were taken during our session with our photographer. Random people got to see these bootleg pictures of our wedding pictures before we did. And we’re not social media heavy.
This video just goes to show how amazing Maggie and Zack's friends are and how much they are loved. Keith just kept stepping up and Eugene went all out and Matt and Becky were just so considerate of how Maggie was feeling. I love this. ❤️
I don't remember hearing much about Keith in this episode. What was said about him?

for future wedding couples, if you want a photo with everyone, have that greeting moment at a set location where THEY come to you and a photographer can take a picture at the same time
In The Netherlands the bride takes the husbands surname as their middle name... so it would be Maggie Kornfeld Bustamante... And in the interests of equality, my husband took my maiden name as his middle name.
Its one of the options yes but you can do whatever you like in the Netherlands! Name A then B, B then A, or only A or B is all fully available in NL!

Love how Maggie was shocked at how late her wedding was meanwhile my in law's wedding went on until 4am LMFAO
Was their wedding in the States? Most venues in the States close by midnight which is why parties often end at 11PM, while in Europe that doesn’t seem to be the case (maybe Mexico too, but I have experience with European weddings specifically); they can party at the venue until 5/6AM!

In my country a wedding can start at like 11am and end at 4am

I wrote my entire wedding ceremony. It was a whole 5 minutes start to finish. My husband and I both have a touch of social anxiety, so we wanted it quick and dirty. We wrote our vows to each other in a letter and read them in the hotel room that night. We did the standard vows during the ceremony.
Weddings always make me cry, apparently even descriptions of them.

The fact that you got Brass Traxx to play is so dope. I've seen them a couple times and they are so much fun. Congratulations to Maggie and Zach. I'm so glad your day was beautiful. My fiance and I plan to have live music at our wedding too. We're hosting a music festival outside of the city where we live. We already have a venue and have some local bands who have agreed. Listening to how stressful and chaotic things can be, I'm wondering if we're making the right choice. But at the end of the day, I know we want an event where we are partying with our friends until we're too exhausted to party anymore. I've also always wanted to host a music festival. It's going to be amazing.

We did disposables at our wedding too. Some of our favorite photos are from them but sadly most people didn’t use flash and it was 2009, we weren’t really far removed from film cameras at that point.
I got married in Mexico too because 80-90% of family and friends were over there. I am always so punctual, but I felt so bad when the photographers were waiting on me because the makeup appointment went over time 🥲 I was rushing from there to picking up calla and guiding my brothers in law to pick up the cake and things we needed that the organizers were not in charge of. Eventually it all worked out, the night does fly by! It was 1AM new years and it was like "omg the reception end came so soon!"
weddings in Chile strat around 6-7pm and end at 4-5 am😂😂, its soo weird that in the US partys end sooo early
I know it’s not any of my business but I want to know so bad how much this wedding costed! I used to work weddings for years and do I know how much goes into them. Im guessing around 150k from my experience. Love these 2❤
