Unknown" is not just an ordinary story. The drama is an adaptation of the novel "Brother" by Priest, a renowned Chinese author known for deep human themes and capturing the essence of life's struggles and joys. Priest's works such as "Guardian" (2018) and "Faraway Wanderers" (2021), better known as "Word of Honor," have been adapted into dramas and gained global popularity.
The story will revolve around Wei Qian, a young man who strives to build a career since his teenage years. His challenging life takes a turn when he encounters an abandoned child whom he names Xiaoyuan. Wei Qian adopts Xiaoyuan as his younger brother, but the bond formed between them slowly transcends the limits of brotherhood. Xiaoyuan falls in love with Wei Qian, creating a complex and dilemma-filled situation

Can anyone tell me what happens in the end of novel
Well, since the show is quite different from how the novel is written, the timeline and emotions are same. But the work/careers the leads have is a bit different.
So not sure if this feels like a spoiler.
But in the novel, wei zhiyuan takes over the administration work in the company where wei qian is currently working. More like a CEO(?) And wei qian pursues his higher studies (post graduation) and follows his dream of becoming scientist/researcher sort of.
