And if I see him on top of a mountain saying, ‘I am your Lord most high’ (أنا ربكم الأعلى), then I’ll say he’s reciting a verse from the Quran.” You cannot say for a fact that all streams of income are haram. He may have a business that has never gone near any forms of haram money. Like I said, many muslims nowadays are quick to judge people when that is Allah’s job. Don’t think the worst of other people, especially your brothers in Islam.
He also gets paid a lot for promoting people’s businesses. Is that haram money? He can easily rise 10 grand from that revenue stream. You don’t know this brother personally to know where his charity money is coming from so before you judge him maybe go ask him privately. Bare in mind, an Imam is also accepting the money. It’s your life and your risk of obtaining sins from judging people but Allah knows best.

You cannot say for a fact that all streams of income are haram. He may have a business that has never gone near any forms of haram money. Like I said, many muslims nowadays are quick to judge people when that is Allah’s job. Don’t think the worst of other people, especially your brothers in Islam.

He also gets paid a lot for promoting people’s businesses. Is that haram money? He can easily rise 10 grand from that revenue stream. You don’t know this brother personally to know where his charity money is coming from so before you judge him maybe go ask him privately. Bare in mind, an Imam is also accepting the money. It’s your life and your risk of obtaining sins from judging people but Allah knows best.
