This is not just a film. This is what actually happened during the war years. Japanese invaded the country and slaughtered thousands. The Japs lied to the USA that all the atrocities in Manchuria (Northern China) were false. WW2 was in progress at the time and USA hadn't entered the war until their rude "Japanese" awakening at Pearl Harbour. Salute to the martyrs who fought the hard fight. Great story and great actors. And yes a very sad ending. Thank you to this channel.

Apesar do triste final do romance de Yuzhu e Junhao, foi uma grande história! Quando o interesse maior é o coletivo, o particular individual fica em segundo plano. A heroína sacrifico7 a própria felicidade em nome da felicidade do povo! Está aí o perfil do verdadeiro herói!
Quanto aos atores, bem convicentes. CHEN XIAO consegue demonstrar com sutilezas os sentimentos do personagem; Yang Zishan, compõe o perfil da heroína com a doçura e fibra necessárias; os demais atores compõem o pano de fundo com eficiência. Enfim, um espetáculo de série! Parabéns a todos os envolvidos!

I hate such story's buh I still watched it I knew there will be deaths buh never expected them to take Xia yuzuh it was really painful n a really sad ending it was not emotional until I saw her old son that made me cry like wise their token of love made me cry so much it's a sad story though I hate politics no one enters it n remains the same they all become crazy some how
