My parents told me the exact same thing and I believe such support/comfort words are meaningful. In a way, they were telling me it's okay to fall ...the world won't end for me if things don't work out as planned...I was so terrified of disappointing my parents and being a failure that them telling me it was okay to give up if that's what I wanted is something that I needed to hear. If anything just like Taehyung it was motivation to keep going knowing that if I were to fall/fail it would be okay because my parents understood that it just simply didn't work out so move on to the next.

I would cry because of my childish/ innocent heart, not wanting them to leave My trainee life seemed so difficult. There was a time when I called, saying "I'm exhausted I want to quit" while crying. But my father said, "If you're too tired, it's ok to quit. There are many different careers, so let's find another career. Since he said it to me like that, there was nothing I could say to that. Just the fact that he had to bring out those words made me feel ashamed. I thought about it after some time passed, and I was so touched by what he said to me
