He always cared and loved her since they little, even in the end he loved and cared for her. It wasn't an obsession, it was pure and genuine feelings from his side.. I really wish they hadn't killed his character.
They can make him let go his love for her as time goes by and give him a new love. He's a good guy, but this ending makes his character more stand out. It's okay, it's a drama, Of course they need a dramatic story line. I hope it's never happen in real life. It's sad that a good guy live ruined because someone who didn't love them back

I really did not like his character after she told him no so many times. IF he had accepted that she did not love him they could have been friends. Yes, it was sad in the end when he died and I felt so sorry for him and the fact that she was sad.
He was a little annoying in the beginning of the series especially how his always trying to go after the King but i guess he was able to redeem himself at the end and saves the Queen. Im still in Episode 16 right now.
