All k-pop groups are very good singer but BTS is something else by seeing this old performance they totally deserve success... And they did . This is why I should stop reading comments. People always have to take everything too fucking seriously. Ugh. The guys are NOT going around groping women inappropriately. Shut up already. Women do the same objectifying to men. When fans are squealing over all of the guys' looks, that's objectifying them as well. You don't know them, so aren't you partly admiring them for their looks? If ANY of you try to sell me some nonsense about how you "only love them for their music." and "I never find them hot when they're dancing or sweating etc." I'm gonna call bullshit ALL OVER THAT.
Sometimes a song is just a song. Whether you care about the lyrics or not. Whether you LIKE the lyrics or not. We all know the guys aren't psychotic horn dogs, but they are writing a song expressing the war that goes on in a guy's body when he sees a hot girl. Don't act like women don't do the same. If any of you live your life so purely that sex doesn't cross your mind and you never drool over someone because of their looks, then continue to bitch and moan from your high pedestals. I know that the majority of us have just admired someone for their looks and we probably also had dirty thoughts. Doesn't mean that we're "sending a message that people--women AND men--are objects. It just means we're human and have dirty thoughts. You don't like the song? Don't listen to it. Simple as that. Instead of causing a ruckus acting like the boys are some horrid, perverse creatures for writing about emotions that a majority of the human race feels from time to time. Ugh. SMH.

Suga's flow is always on point
Jimin's soprano is better than it's ever been
Jungkook's still super well rounded, does it all.
J-Hope's rapping continues to improve, love his voice. Dancing is fantastic.
V's looking great, vocals are beautiful.
Jin's singing is featured quite a bit in this album, which is awesome because he's got a great voice. (I just wish he'd look less stiff in his dancing, but he has improved a lot since the beginning)

These guys blew my mind from the second I saw them and there is no other group that has captivated me like this. I don't want to say anything negative about other groups, but BTS is and remains the undisputed number 1 for me. Many people already suspected that something unique was founded with BTS, they achieved everything that many had hoped for and so much more.
Each one of them is unique and even if they sometimes seem to be the complete opposite of each other, they harmonize perfectly together. Even though they're on stage as a group, everyone has their own personality and you can see and hear that in every single song.

I have been an ARMY since October 2013. Since then too much things happened and I feel like I grew up with them and their songs. So and so proud of them.
Danger, war of hormone, hip hop love, cypher 3 are my fave in the album.. I even can't say anything about let me know cause I'm starting to cry when I hear it. Let me know is a kinda perfection to me. Tae, kook, jin's solos.. Suga, rapmon, hobie's rap.. And jimin...

All right people. I am a woman. I am proud to say I am a woman, and I come from a country in which men and women are usually equal. I have to say, I didn't find anything offensive in BTS' War of Hormone. They are GUYS. YOUNG. GUYS. FULL. OF. HORMONES. If anything this song is more of an insult to themselves, saying they're clichéed like all other guys and want to look at girls because that's what their hormones are telling them to do. And they're saying the girls are sexy, extremely pretty, and that they can't get their eyes off them. I think that's more of a compliment than an insult. Do you seriously expect young guys to just forget about the girls because they're in the music industry? They're people too. All those young guys around you might be thinking the same and you wouldn't start telling them they're bad people who objectify women just because of that. I'm not a teen anymore and I'm looking at them sweating and looking hot, and I think they're really sexy (even golden maknae Jungkook, and I feel like a pedo saying that). So what? Am I degrading them? Am I making them into objects because I think that? No, I'm just saying they're hot. All of those people out there who write smutty fanfics about them, do you go on their page and tell them they're insulting men by writing such things? No, you're probably reading them in delight. And those fanfics are a lot more explicit than War of Hormone, which is just describing young guys' inner fight against their hormones when they're seeing pretty ladies...
Enough said. All of these songs are amazing, and if you really want to accuse people of being sexists, just check out most American pop and hip hop songs, you'll probably have a better chance finding bad lyrics there...

To all the people I've come across in the comment section from the past like 7 or 6 or 8 years ago , guys , it's so surreal to read your comments. It's so freaking precious and beautiful to see all these people believing in our boys since so long , it's like reading a history book spitting facts about future . Y'all are hella amazing.
Also I saw a lot of people talking about some specific "x" factor that differentiates BTS from the other groups ever since the rookie days . I personally feel that factor is that though they're a group they never once failed to bring their each individual selves on the table . I for one , don't really like too much of groupie groups , you know the groups where they just dance and sing in syncronisation and don't bring out their own characters to the song or dance . I mean no disrespect towards other groups, but I've observed it specifically in the case of BTS that they're are too much of themselves, each one of them , they are totally into their own moods while performing. Each has his own unique style and even when they need to sind together, you can still make out their individual vibes to it . Like , each has his own brand and version and style and the group, while their rapport is great they never forgot to be themselves on their own . Also , while k-pop is mainly praised about having surreally beautiful men and women and all the cute stuffs about it , bts for one , I've seen are a bunch of wise and intelligent people who actually speak and make you want to listen to them for their knowledge and experience and not just act cute . And not to mention, their highly unique voices . Their voices are so different and have special vibes to it which is exclusively theirs , that you can easily get into their grooves and on hearing that you can feel various different ranges to emotions that varies member to member , which I've observed in almost no other groups.
Ps. Yeah ... I mean , i got carried away and said a lot 😅

I really think Jin improved a lot from the previous promotions. He sings more confidently now, even his moves is getting better. I'm so proud of him

A huge BRAVO to Suga who has produced this wonderful song, surely one of the songs that make everyone turn into ARMY... Just like a spell, this song makes us remember that love means being sincere...
About their performance of Let me Know, the singers made an incredible job and the rappers were just perfect, so much emotions in J-Hope's part... V and Jin were also hyper concentrated. And I felt like Jungkook was a little lost in his voice, which gives a dream-like atmosphere !!! Aaand of course !! The high note of Jimin was wooow I'm so impressed !!!
Suga and Rapmon ❤ they deserve to be the happiest persons, their rap is healing so Fighting Bangtan !!!

Honestly, you have people left and right in the k-pop community criticising artists for being "puppets" and being mere "entertainers" and then BTS comes out with a song like "War of Hormones" that's raw, honest, confronting and Tells It As It Is...and people still criticise.
Seriously guys, it's called "Hormone WAR" in an album called "Dark and Wild"...of course the song is going to be confronting and strong...That doesn't mean these guys want to dominate girls or whatever...you can't exactly express a Hormone War with a freaking ballad.
As for objectifying, yes the lyrics objectify girls...but that's it - It goes no further than "you look pretty/sexy because you have ---" Girls do it too...and they're trying to represent/relate to teenage guys. This objectification is more or less normal for teenage boys...

I started sobbing during Jin's part in Let Me Know. Tears were already filling my eyes when Let Me Know started but when Jin sang I completely lost it (he's my ultimate bias btw I love him so much words cannot describe) I'm so fucking proud. So so so so fucking proud. Watching them live their dreams with all these fans and them just doing what they love really got to me. They deserve the world, and I hope they get it. I love you, Bangtan. Never stop doing what you're doing please.

New to BTS. DIscovered them on 2019 on Late Show in US. They performed Boy with Love. Slick and smooth. I had no idea they started out so rough and sexy. They really do all kinds of moods and emotions. Just love them. And I am 62! I saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan at age 7 and these guys are JUST AS GOOD!!!!!!!

I'm rooting for BTS to be one of the few that really advance in the U.S. They have the concept considered popular, triple threat, looks, dancing and singing. Love to watch them. Also like the rapping and I don't generally care for KPOP rapping other than Jay Park.

For those who are saying they're a bit disappointed of the War of Hormones, let me just tell you this:
Their album is "Dark and Wild". That's the point. That's the reason why the lyrics are a bit aggressive because it's DARK and WILD. Of course their songs should be connected to the concept. But not because this is a bit aggressive and the language is too strong, that's who they are in real life. No no. They're a bunch of innocent cute puffballs that can transform into hot guys. ("Hot guys" is an understatement)

All ya'll arguing about the sexism in War of Hormones, please take a damn moment to remember that these boys are KOREAN and they live in KOREA where the status of women is inherently different from what we're use to in America/Western countries. I'm not trying to say that it's OK to objectify women, but I also think it's absolutely stupid to analyze a song without the proper context. On top of that, please remember that the lyrics we get are a TRANSLATION ONLY. Do you know what this means? It means that subtle nuances in a language like wordplay, connotation, all that gets lost and the meaning is diminished. So until you go and actually learn the language, please stop acting like you're the authority on the lyrics' meaning.

Let me know is such a pretty song. Everyone executed their parts perfectly. My fave Yoongie song. Jimin's high notes are fire.

Honestly I believe people are overreacting. There is nothing violent or objectifying in the lyrics of this song. The line "women are the best present" I honestly think is a translation issue. I don't think that the line says women are an object to own, but something to treasure. I think it's more like "women are the best thing on this planet" or "women are my favorite thing", not like "I own you, you're mine". Even so if it wasn't a translation issue, this song is about how men become so blinded by hormones they can't think straight and think bad thoughts (just like any other teenager). Which is probably why the song is called "War of Hormones", not "I Love Hormones they're the best yay". It's supposed to be dirty. The album is called "Dark&Wild" not "Sunshine&Domestication". To the people who are offended by the dirty lyrics and the so called "objectification", you're obviously not reading into the point of this song.

As someone who has only been around a couple of years, it's really fun seeing these old videos...their beginning. On the comments, seeing people who were commenting 8 years ago! Someone recently said that fans who were only familiar with their recent english speaking songs (which are great) only know the tip of the iceberg of BTS's talent. That is so true.

They worked so hard this past year and a half, I have watched them grow from boys to men in both appearance and musicality.
