Beat makers producing for industry artists don't master their beats. In fact the only reason you would want to put a light master on a beat is for online presentation. Mixing and Mastering is the engineers job. Yes beat makers mix their beats, but it's mostly for sound shaping purposes. Basically it's not the beat makers job to make a final product. It's their job to create a foundation. Thing of a song like a puzzle. The producers job is to put all the outside pieces together so an artist can fill in their pieces. After that the engineers job is to make is all fit together nice, neat and clean. There really is no sauce. If you don't feel you have the sauce yet, you just haven't discovered your style yet.
