    The freeze dried mealworms are a tough sell at my yard. I recently bought some suet-mealworm treats no one wants anything AT ALL to do with those. 🤔

    Birds have such a low number of tastebuds on their tongue, it's generally thought that they taste almost nothing at all. You thinking that there's any expression of "surprise" from the blue jay is just another way that people like to anthropomorphize animals; even when it makes no sense whatsoever. It's like feeding a fish and thinking it smiled at you- it didn't.

    Those two are the cutest 😍😍😍 can you tell me how I can tell the difference between a chipmunk and a squirrel from several feet away? Is it their size or maybe the bushiness of their tails? I'm wondering now if those creatures I hear around are squirrels or chipmunks. They go chik chik chik when they want to converse and their tails move as they talk.

    Corvids absolutely love peanuts! My parents feed local birds, and stellar jays are always picking carefully through the offerings for the best peanut.
