Awesome video. Coincidentally, I recently played Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums on my PS2 and I simply LOVED playing that game. While Carmen is still more of an antagonist in that game, the fact that she continues to give clues to the main character makes me feel that Carmen has a bigger motive to these thefts than anyone could anticipate. While playing the game, I suspected more and more that Carmen was more than a superhero (or rather an anti-hero) than a criminal, suggesting that there is more to her than meets the eye. I also loved that art style in the game as well. It is quite fun actually and I highly recommend playing some time. Now, I have to admit that I have not seen the cartoon of Carmen Sandiego, as I did not like the animation style, but from what you said in the video, it might suggests that Carmen may have been a Hero from the get go rather than a villain. She is a great character and I hope we will hear about this character (rather via tv series, movie or video games) very soon...Fingers crossed...

So, as a science nerd, the "limit of questions" they speak about in this series (if the Scub wakes up and brings its collective consciousness to bear), is actually a real thing. There's a concept in physics that states that if space itself contained too much "information" (quantum or physical objects), space itself would become dense enough to collapse into a singularity. Its called the Bekenstein Bound. Seeing this show from my childhood play with some exceptionally deep physics is such a damn cool thing man. Also, I've read the Golden Bough (its a real book) and it's essentially the founding text on the study of Anthropology. It examines the relationship between human's understanding of the world around them throughout time, from mysticism, superstition, religion, and finally, science, all being ways that humans have tried to decrypt reality, but also how each society has fallen to using such an understanding to subject each other to horrendous things such as war, slavery, murder, and control through ignorance, and James Frazier, the author, emphasizes how important it is to understand these histories to prevent it all from happening again. A fitting thing for Holland and Dewey, who were supposed to be sons of the family destined to lead humanity into prosperity again, to be reading.

Like a fine wine, this show matures with age and a lot of its subtleties made strictly for adults start to become ever more meaningful and apparent. And yes, its still has immaculate style and looks incredible to this day. They NAILED the visuals in this series, minus a few blemishes in animation occasionally.

Also, Eureka 7 has a great love story, animation, etc but its hippy dippy lets save the environment message is really preachy, and gets old real fast. This happened in the original Gundam franchise as well. They make it out like Earth is made so fragile that it will vaporize into nothing just because people live on it. Not to mention how its ignored how many times the narrative has changed or how many times the goal posts have been moved. Yes we need to be good stewards of our environment but we also need to remember that we were given dominion over it to subdue it to our needs.

Very interesting rewrite. I especially like that you make Ben grow as a character with each of his adventures and that Vilgax (at least from what I get from the images you showed) is essentially Homelander but even worse due to being much more powerful and without any of his humanizing traits. Some of my personal ideas for a rewrite of Ben 10 are: - The Anodite form is a magical transformation achieved through special training with magic. - The Plumbers do exist, but Max is not part of them, with him never having had anything to do with aliens in the past. - Kevin initially is a villain who uses his powers to run illegal businesses, but after a long time he redeems himself and decides not to bother the Tennysons or anyone else. As for the voice cast, these are all my ideas so far: Child voice actors as Ben Tennyson, Kevin Levin and their alien forms. I just think having child playing child roles is so much more natural than having an teen/adult in that role. As for their alien forms, it's basically still them but in other forms, so why not? I'm pointing out that in the alien forms, the actors' voices get modified via programs specifically for it. Child voice actresses as Gwen Tennyson and Charmcaster. Exact, same reasons for my choices for Ben and Kevin, only as female now. Fred Tatasciore as Grandpa Max. I think the voice he used to voice Master Shifu in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness suits Max very well, especially since Shifu and Max are the wise mentors of the main protagonists of their series. Tom Schalk as Vilgax. He voiced Omni-Man and Megatron in Death Battle. That's all I need to say.

Being a hero was part of Carmen's background. The desire to watch stories from those days helps making it work.

I was really excited when SymBiotic Titan was released. It's an amalgamation of Tartakovsky's past. It has a russian doll style in Princess Illana, anime features (Gozilla situation) and US-American (superhero) influences, most notably in the setting. And then there also was the alien world with its more abstract settings. Symbiotic Titan had set up such a complex situation with everyone getting involved in the mysteries of the titan getting drawn together that I thought, surely this would go on for a few seasons. Unfortunately it didn't. I think it harkened back to the fun days of Dexter's laboratory, but presented a coherent story that was actually interesting and complex. Same the studio didn't see it the same way! I wasn't much interested in the conclusion to Samurai Jack. I think I even watched a few episodes and lost interest. But I watched all of Primal. It felt like Conan met Moebius in spirit. I liked the lack of words and how it tells a story of friendship through necessity. You benefit from a good friend as much as he does from you. Without effort or negotiation. I think that's what the story achieved most of all. As for Clone Wars: loved them! I hear that Lucas distanced himself from the production, because he didn't like the depiction of the Jedi as allmighty maniacs. I felt like that was exactly what Star Wars needed. Those episodes were a lot of fun. The 3D clone wars got to tell the bigger story and it went pretty dark towards the end. But it didn't capture the magic of the Jedi. It wasn't fun enough. I wish Tartakovski would get unlimited budget and free reign to cast whoever he wants to work with. I'd really like to see him try his hands on a science-fiction or fantasy opus. Sorry for the long comment. I quite love and respect that man and his body of work.

its my favourite anime ever... first time i've watched it was 2005 and i've watched it LITERALLY, more than 127 times... i know everything about this anime all the names, names of all robots robot serial number and shit... its sad a piece of art like psalm of the planet never got a sequel that could live up for its greatness of the original one... they have changed a lot of things... change name of various things for no reason at all created a bunch unnecessary timeline-side-universes that tell eureka seven story in diferent ways... since today they never explened how the scub coral came from and what it was before reaching earth, never fully explained what is Nirvash, nirvash its to be a unique archetype that its meant for being the guardian of eureka, after the psalm of the planet on the "sequels" they invented out from their butt they just "made up" several other nonsense nirvashes, even on E7-AO there are 2 nirvashes!!! its not like they are completelly diferent Nirvashes like Type-Zero and Type-TheEnd, each E-Project its meant to come to the surface with its own Guardian i think Type TheEnd its probably Sakuya's Nirvash wich she never had the chance to met since her discovery she was set into a Vodarak Enclosure Life. but the AO Nirvash Type Zero Spec2 Doesn't make Any damn sense... since he was already evolved into Spec3 all renton did was to build a set of armor for him and a Funnel Scepter, now from where the fck, came that Spec2 Eureka was Piloting during the meteor re-entry? no one knows... AO was a good try... but... horrible, Images make no Sense, cause we learned on Psalm of the Planet that the scub burst has good intentions and want to co-exist with humans, now out of sudden they are demons who want to explode everything... and this images are now the good guys that the universe created out of nothing to go against the Scub Coral. all the movies make no sense at all... specially the Hi-Evolution ones... cool movies but has NOTHING to do with Eureka Seven.

tink ultimate spiderman is overhated, its much better than disney marvels Spiderman, yeah it was a bit goofy but that was fun not every caartoon has to do the same thing that would really be borring but still wish that spectacular comes back one day and ultimate could show up in a crossover like spiderverse 3 (want to see the spider slayers again, wish they were more like Ben reilly (like the blue one has blue hair or is a bit of a punk, the ghost black and is a gothic, goliath as the muscle guy and is bold?) and more used)

I have a theory. At the end of the third book, the nightmare knight threatens to end their adventure, but he says he won't, because their adventure is amusing to him. My theory is this. That wasn't the nightmare knight, that was glitchmaster. When he appears before cucumber and his friends, everything is glitching around him, and he does some weird glitchy magic. In the fourth book, when the nightmare knight says that it was not an act of mercy that he spared cucumber and his friends, behind him in background, we can see that he is thinking about the time he destroyed intermezzo wall, but cucumber seems to be thinking about the time in caboodle's ship. In caboodle's ship, when cosmo disappears, instead of disappearing with fog and stars as the nightmare knight usually does, cosmo disappears in a glitchy way.

Just finished this show again last night after not watching it for about 5 years. I’ve seen it over 10 times since since I was about 12 and now I’m 29. When I reached the ending last night I was literally sobbing…this show means so much to me and I can’t put into words why. Great video.

In defense of Vezon's continuous returns due to being a favorite of the author: he is REALLY funny But absolutely, the ignition trilogy was something else. As much as I understand the grievances for the loss of early Bionicle's more mysterious and fantastic vibes for a near grimdark approach, I'm kind of glad they went with it because the result was incredible. And that massive cliffhanger of an ending! If I was a kid and got left at Teridax taking over the universe I would have shat myself. Mr Farshtey what do you MEAN I have to wait a whole year to know how my favorite characters are doing.

I remember watching this series as a kid and every time I watched I would immediately want to see what happens next. The main characters were so well written and season 2 particularly gave one of them an amazing arc that has to do with the darkness realm. I wish these were on dvd.
