  • The Showtime docuseries "Outcry" tells this true story of a high school football star named Greg Kelley who had his life ripped away after being wrongfully convicted of sexual abuse. He and his family spent six years trying to clear his name and documented it all. They're now hoping to bring awareness to the story to get him full justice. Greg and his wife Gaebri recently joined Access for their first television interview, where they opened up about what they've been through. The final episode of the five-part documentary airs Aug. 2 on Showtime.

    Heart breaking that a young man with such a bright future was falsely accused and that was enough to ruin his life. I’m so glad he’s out, doing well and his lovely girlfriend is now his wife but it’s just so awful what he was put through

    I cried through the whole documentary with complete sorrow, BUT hearing that those terrible (I won’t cuss) police men getting held accountable makes me cry even harder with absolute joy!

      It’s the judicial system not the justice system there never will be justice at any level for people . It’s just a court system that gets it right more then they get it wrong . In this case it’s very sad but tons of actual rapists set free every year . Now this case had so many things wrong that it proved that due process isn’t actually happening for some people . We have known that for a long time .. insert rich people that get away with the same crime that someone one else does 20 plus years for . A simple drug charge getting 5 plus years , another person not doing any time .. rape charges defiantly are different in every state too as well as how they look into things .. shoot I could name a ton of girls raped and nothing was done due process wise because the state covered it .. that’s what makes this case so intriguing because he was innocent !

    Just finished all five episodes. Cried all through it.
    No words to express my horror at what Greg and his family were put through. Nothing but respect and love for Greg.
    Then there’s Gaebri. WOW WOW WOW!!! An amazing woman.
    I have a huge dislike for the marriage institution, but I’ll make an exception for these two. They deserve each other and nothing but happiness.

    Greg, I just finished watching all of Outcry; I started this morning and finished this afternoon. Wow. You are such a great young man. And I cannot express how mad and sad I am that this could happen to someone anywhere in the US. For 3 years you faced those bars and kept up your fighting attitude. 3 years... That must have been so hard to do day after day. Just knowing that you did not do the crime... I wish you all the best with your new freedom and your lovely wife, Gaebri, who never left your side and hopefully your football dream. I see great things on the horizon for you and your family. I shed lots of tears watching Outcry and thank goodness that most of those tears were of happiness and joy. Love you GK.

    This happened literally around the corner from us in Round Rock, TX and we all followed this case from day 1. He had a massive amount of support from our community and all the people who pushed, and fought and worked to get his conviction overturned are all heros. Former Chief Mannix of Cedar Park PD retired and is a douche bag and Shawn Dick was a breath of fresh air in our county.

    I have to say one of the most frustrating parts of this series for me was the female sexual assault survivor and activist who said she didn’t know Greg Kelly and didn’t know the facts of the case but Kelley was guilty because no child would lie about that stuff. I think she needs to learn about the San Antonio Four… four gay Hispanic women who were convicted of child rape among other charges and went to prison for ten years only to have the two young girls, who told authorities they were raped by the four women, come forward years later and admit they lied and the four women had never touched them. They were eventually exonerated…. So children do lie. I don’t think the boy in the GK case lied though, I am 99% convinced it was Jonathan McCarty who has infact been charged with the rape of other female teens.y

      I totally believe that he's not guilty but what would make a 4 year old make up something like that about someone? Either something must have happened to the kid or he must be extremely intelligent and a future psychopath or something? At 4 I at least didn't even know adults could rape children or what sex was. I don't doubt children can make up stories like that to hurt others or as revenge but I'm really confused a 4 year old

      That's what activists do, they ignore anything that goes against their activism. Now imagine a activist that is already emotionally bias due to her personal experience. She will never be rational while analyzing this situations, because her broken emotions get in the way of her reasoning and emotions will always trump reason as unreasonable as that is.

    no one is talking about the victims of the sexual assault? so who did it then? People always want to talk about how bad the cops are...until its their own kids that get hurt or abused--then they want the cops to do whatever they need to do

    • @teijaflink2226

      I want to know too, I'm so confused, I mean how can a 4 year old make up a story that he was raped and why (to hurt Greg?), the kid must be extremely intelligent and advanced or something must have happened to him, maybe from someone else that he knows about these things. Or did an older kid or adult make him tell that (and he didn't understand what he was saying) maybe someone was jellous that Greg got in the team to hurt him. I haven't watched the documentary but I really hope they investigated well what actually happened and hiw it's possible the kid lied and why and if someone else actually hurt him.

    This happens way too often! This is so sad. Men are guilty regardless because jury’s automatically judge on emotions though advised not to.

    • @Eventual-Visitor
      @Eventual-Visitor 7 개월 전

      One thing that should be altered is the legal ramifications of falsely accusing somebody, especially on this area where people's life is automatically destroyed even if they are considered not guilty. I think false accusers should suffer serious legal criminal ramifications for their actions, otherwise it will keep happening because the most a false accuser will suffer is not being able to achieve the objective of imprisoning an innocent person, although still destroying their life in the public perception.
