Trying Magnetic Eyelashes For The First Time | Ardell Magnetic Lashes

I actually liked that you struggled. Everyone else makes their tutorials seem flawless but seeing you actually struggle shows its not always easy. Lol. I may give these lashes a try. Lol

Got a better technique for you girl - Put the bottom lashes up under your real lashes first, then as you hold them in place, close your eye on them and that will hold them in place. Then bring the top lashes down to the top of your own lashes and they will just snap down, connecting with the lower ones :)

I love how she’s so honest about it and even shows the imperfections of applying them. Some beauty gurus just show the easiness of make up steps...

I watched this with my husband. He was so confused how the eyelashes stayed together. I paused the video and told him how they worked. After 3 attempts the light went on 😂. Imagine when he watches the type you apply with glue. When I do it, the glue usually wins and the eyelashes are stuck to my fingers.

Thank you so much for posting this video! I bought magnetic lashes a couple of years ago after watching multiple videos of people just snapping them on like there was nothing to it. When I tried them I had the same experience as you, so I haven't even successfully worn them yet! Your video makes me feel like I can do it if I keep trying.

I got some and gave up. I will try again. Yours don't look strange, they look natural to me and thick long and beautiful!

I did the same thing girl!! It takes practice!!! I like the ones that are "pieces", cuz then I can set them where I want

I just got these tonight and it was a struggle!😂 I've almost got the hang of it. The little magnetic lash tweezers they came with did kind of help, as you can stick the upper and lower onto each side of the tweezer and use that to sandwich them onto your lashes.... But the inner corner still won't cooperate!

Thank you for being real about these! I had the exact same issues and after trying over and over (about 45 mins) I gave up and threw them out! Not sure I'm brave enough to try them again.

Thankyou. I ordered a pair & had no idea how they work. Now I see (after watching your tutorial.) One set over your natural lashes & one set under & they snap together.

Lol, I struggled just as you did in the beginning and then I actually used the pink magnetic applicator that comes with it and it takes me 10 seconds to put them on. Love it! Never going back to glue ever.

My coworker said it is so much easier to cut them into 3 sections

Nice vid. I'd try cutting them and only doing the middle part of each eye so that the ends don't show. It would be like a dolly eye look I guess.

I just started using magnetic eyeliner with the magnetic lashes. A bit of a learning curve but WAY easier than the 2 sets of magnets.

I work at Sally Beauty, and bought a magnegic applicator a Double 110 set and the Accent set when they came in. Had for a couple of months before I tried them...and hated it, just couldn't get them close enough to the lash line. Tried again a couple of months later...and they slid off (or rather basically began dangling from my real lash tips) within an hour. Finally figured that mascara would add necessary bulk to prevent sliding. Success! Still struggle with getting them against lash line, but looking into a hand mirror or compact to set top lash, them leaning head back and looking up at the mirror allows me to get them on a little closer to the lash line. Thanks for posting! Hope it gets easier and that the extensions are a breeze!

Put the bottom lash on, get tweezers, like the top one up with the bottom one and attach it. Or cut the bottom into threes and attack it bit by bit to the top part.
