    My trick is to position the bottom on first, squeeze your eye shut to hold lash in place, then put lash on top until it clicks to bottom, then adjust if you need to. Takes one minute each eye. Seriously, And Nikol, I love you and because of you I have decided to go silver, but I have the patience of a gnat, so I had major silver and smoke highlights with dark brown undertones. Now my gray/silver will grow out without too much pain. Thank you for giving all us older gals the courage.

      i figured out this method too! I grew out my greys 10 years ago, when i was 25 (yes, i had lots of grey hair really young)
      I only dyed my hair a handful of times in high school for "fun" i never got to the point where i was dying to cover greys.
      It damaged my hair and i swore of dye that's why! Dyed it black and grew out my dark brown natural hair! :) best thing ever

      @vilwarin5635 4 년 전 +1

      @@teesha123 It happened to me too. I´m 31 now and my silver hairs are all over my hair. I have long brunette hair, and for a time I tried to cover the white strands with dye. But then I had 2 problems instead of 1: I had roots + white hair. Now I decided to go natural, I´d rather have nice and healthy hair than be a slave of dying and destroy my hair.

    This was a great video, thanks!
    I just want to mention to those who wear them regularly, even if it seems like common sense, please be sure to remove them if you are having an MRI as the magnets could cause severe damage by the MRI equipment magnetically pulling the eyelashes off.

    • @jamiekrista

      Actually it doesn’t pull a magnet up, an MRI heats the magnet and causes burning of the patient.

    I’m so glad that I found your channel. Firstly I am closer to 40 than I am 20 and I have struggled with some of the make up tutorials as my skin is no where near as pliable as it used to be and it just reacts completely different to the younger ones. And second I am allergic to lash glue and didn’t even know you can get latex free glue, so I have just bought my first set of magnetic lashes and you make it look so easy. The way you explain it is brilliant how to catch the skin so can adjust down afterwards really really helps.

I can't wear so much stuff because of it😶 I definitely suggest trying these baby's for a spin LOL

      rose mary I bought them as well, also a HUGE FAIL... until I tried something before throwing them out. I cut the bottom one into 1/3's. There's 4 magnets on the bottom, cut the inner corner w one magnet, the outer corner w one magnet and the center w two magnets. Then lay the full top row on your lashes and use tweezers to first add the inner corner, then the outer corner, then the center! AMAZING the difference!! Give it a try, you'll love it!!

    • @theshadylady1982
      @theshadylady1982 5 년 전 +2

      I hope you ladies had some luck! I couldn't get them on even once until I cut them and then I got them on right away. Having a little mascara on your top lashes will help your lashes support the full row you lay across as you add the bottom ones to attach to the upper magnets. The closer to the root the better. This also fixes the extremely common problem of the lashes not curving enough and having the inner corner section stick straight out no matter what you try. This fixes that as well. :)

    I just discovered your channel and really like what you do. You mentioned where you discovered that in applying the eyelashes, you like having the longest lashes being closer to your nose which is the complete opposite of the usual way of applying. I discovered way back that I prefer having the longest part of lashes like you discovered you now like. I have been applying eyelashes like that since I was 18 back in 1969. I am now 70. I never liked the traditional way of wearing eyelashes with the longest part ending up at the end of your eye, i.e., having that winged look. I always went against being told how to apply and did the opposite. I am glad that there is someone else who likes the way I like. Anyway, I love your channel. Thank you.

    I just had a chemothrapy and lost all my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. My hair is starting to grow back and I was wondering if I should color it ? As you can see on my photo, I had long dark hair but now it’s mostly grey... After this video, I decided to let them « au naturel ». And for the eyelashes, (and eyebrows) unfortunately they didn’t grow back. 😕 But thanks to you, I am happy because I will be able ☺️ to go to Thanksgiving and Christmas parties without everyone staring at me.... My daughter put mine on for me, I still cannot do this alone, I end up tearing up and ruining my mascara. I am so jealous of the ladies who can do this effortlessly! Practice makes perfect - I think I need to practice for at least a year 😂

    OMGoodness! your video demo was outstanding, thank you!!!! I'm at CVS right now, they have #001 plus #003. Whats the difference between them? IDK which one to purchase. Nikol, which one would you buy for your mom? I have few natural lashes & a older senior lady too.

    Oh, so that's how they work !!! That's super easy, right ?! Question : would you wear lashes during the day or would you leave them for an evening glam look ? Thanks :).

    I just put a little clear pigment glue by nyx on over my eyeliner and it holds the top strip just a little so I can apply the bottom lash strips
