Damn it, that was so good and deep at the same time. I almost regret that he is a musician and not a writer. As a writer (well, not published actually but yes, I write novels), I found this line so powerful. But also as a writer, I love listening to his songs to inspire me.

I use to have a different perspective towards the lyrics and the song but now that I saw the story behind it, it feels completely different, more.... emotional yet heart-warming at the same time. I absolutely loved the video and I'm glad that Alec has made a song based on his past experiences. I also hope that he has recovered from the painful memories. We love you Alec

The journey of us meeting Alec's ex throughout his songs has been wonderful; we felt the love, and the anticipation, and the heartbreak. There really is someone who will come in our lives who will not be a part of it forever but was just there so we'd have stories to tell later. Someone you'll remember when you go certain places, eat certain food. We'll do those stuff with new other people too. But those old memories with that old friend, we'll always remember.

The way you are able to express emotions, I don't think anyone else can do that. Soon as I started listening to you, you made me feel stuff that I could never imagine I could. May be because I was finally able to understand myself and actually know what I am feeling (for a long time I have struggled to do that). I can't thank you enough for doing what you are doing. Over a long time now, I have put the song on repeat since it came out. And it stuck with me a lot, almost my favourite Alec song. I learnt all the implications and meanings in the song, I actually listened and paid attention to it that much. But watching this video right here has just brought a whole new meaning to the song, and it's left me speachless. All I can say is that it is amazing, what has been created, and the telling of the story was certainly a very powerful move, with great timing in it too. It's literally left me speachless about it.

I always listen to Alec's music whenever I want to feel disconnected from everything that's happening and happened but I still want to keep the feelings on my mind and think about the situations rationally. Also, Alec's voice is too calming. It reminds me of the wind that comes with the waves after the storm has passed and I can't imagine anything else that I could describe like that. Now I can't wait to go to the beach after a storm again. Really thank you!
