My only advise for living alone is don't be afraid to call your friends when you feel lonely. My first year of college, my roommate moved out/abandoned my about two months into the first semester and I struggled pretty hard the first month, especially because I didn't know anyone that well on campus, so I didn't have anyone's room to crash in. I started calling my best friend every week and that helped a lot but it was a rough adjustment period. Don't worry, you'll get used to it eventually.

It sucks tho when you dont have a lot of friends… not everyone have that blessing. For me, I have always struggled with having friendship, and even lost some of the best ones I have had. So that makes me scared to live alone some day actually! Just wanted to point that out ☺️ but I totally agree with you on this one ofc.
I had a similar situation happen to me! I 100% agree with this comment. Calling my friends and family really helped me adjust. Definitely don’t be afraid to ask your friends to meet up with you to hang out, or to ask Ashley if you can visit or meet up with her and Chloe possibly. It definitely takes some getting used to, but you can do it!
The way I have watched your videos ever since you and Ashley got your first apartment together, through the apartments that you’ve moved through, then your house, and now her moving out on her own is insane. I hope Ashley enjoys her self in her new place, and Alisha definitely take this as an opportunity to begin a new era of your life. It might be scary at first but it’s gonna be so exciting!!! My advice on separating dogs is lots of play dates. Just seeing each other often will help ease the anxiety. The first week or two they’ll probably look for each other but as long as they don’t completely disappear from each other’s lives they won’t be too depressed just sad.

Girl I've lived alone since 23, moved to a whole new city for my career and I can truly say, just keep your friends close. You have a support system, just invite them over and have movie nights & such
Agreed brilliant advice. Friendship is the one consent in life yet takes so much effort and is a two way stream. Always be honest with friends have acceptance, kindness and be true to yourself and others. That is the only way you get through tough times and make new memories 💜💫
When living alone, remember there's a difference between being alone and feeling lonely. When alone you learn this whole new side of yourself that becomes independent and you build this new level of comfort in yourself and your environment with different routines on how to do things. When feeling lonely absolutely reach out to a friend or Ashley. Even a phone call helps with that feeling.

I’m 23 and living alone so far it’s been the best thing ever. I’ve learned to enjoy my own company. I thought it was going to be an adjustment being alone however not once have I felt lonely. Due to keeping my friends and significant other close. Good luck on your new journey Lida❤️

Agreed I think this is the reason I got so emotional because I have been through many of the stages that Ashley and Alisha have. Their content is so relatable. They have inspire dus to be authentic, be real yet be vulnerable sometimes. That has empower me to be the women I am today. This is such an exciting time for both of you!! 😊the advice I have for living alone/moving out by yourself would be allowing yourself to feel sad. I think it's a very human thing to want to just 'get over it' and not feel any sad emotions but it's very healing to express it and move forward into the new chapter. Keeping in contact with people regularly is important, I know for me that my mental health has suffered when I felt like I was annoying people or disrupting other peoples lives and just keeping to myself. My last bit of advice is do things that make you feel safe. It can be kinda creepy at first when you hear noises etc, so I like to have some background noise to fill the space.

I love living alone because I get to really know what I want to do or what I like or what I think without people around me influencing me as much (even if they mean well). It can be so healthy for your relationships. One thing I will say is make sure to remind yourself to call your friends and loved ones and check in or make sure you schedule time to hang out since you won’t spontaneously run into each other.

I lived alone for a year and I have always felt everyone should do it. You learn so much about yourself. Your own habits, ideas, etc and you’re really able to focus on yourself. I feel like it’s funny how Ash pursuing this is also forcing you to try it out. I was tearing up toward the end of your video with all the mems 😢
First of all I want to say congratulations to Ashley and you for starting a new chapter. Second of all, the best advice I can give you for living on your own, don't be afraid to call your friends and family or have them to come and sleepover once in a while, also play music, podcasts or put on the TV during the day and while you sleep, it will make you feel less lonely. It will start to feel less terrifying after a while.
Agreed as people we are social beings and it is so important to remember that. It is fine and acceptable to phone friend and admit that youbare feeling lonely. That you are struggling emotionally asking them if they are okay because that is real pure friendship. Looking out for one another not being honest means you carry that burden alone. No one should do that to themselves. I learnt the hard way I am still learning. 💙💫

So proud & happy for the both of you! For living alone something that helped me was sun light, it just makes me happy lol, but also playing music, having podcasts or KRplus videos in the background. For the dogs, I made sure to give my dog some space to get use to her new home but also show her bit more love since her sister is 7 hours away. It takes time but they will get use to it
This is my first year at college living alone and my biggest piece of advice is to learn to enjoy the calm. There’s nothing more relaxing than coming home to your own sanctuary after a hectic day.

I felt like the first month of living alone was so stressful and scary and honestly very lonely, but then after that I loved living alone! I could come and go as I wanted and I could walk around the house in whatever I wanted😂 moving in with my boyfriend has been the best but honestly after living alone for so long, I kind of miss being on my own sometimes just because living alone really showed me who I am as a person and I figured out life on my own and it is the most humbling and amazing experience!

I'm moving into my own place this weekend and it'll be my first time living alone ever as well! I've gone from living with family to living in forms during college where I shared space with so many amazing friends so now moving into a place that's just me (and my two kittens) is a little nerve racking! Excited for this new chapter in my life, and like you, it feels like a fresh start I've been needing since graduating in May!

I went through stages when I first lived alone; terrified of every single noise, then feeling like 'yeah this is MY space". It was definitely a period of adjustment. I would say dont feel obligated to "like" it, make sure you reach out to people if you do feel lonely or scared, and allow yourself time to adjust to a (very big) life change ❤

i lived alone my last year of college & i loooooved it. sometimes it got a little lonely but i would just go out with friends a lot more. it’s so nice though! i will say, i noticed that i would let a mess sit a little longer than usual sometimes but it’s nice to have a place all to yourself & not just a bedroom
