Tips for plants
Not all plants do well watering on a schedule. I suggest using an app aswell as getting a moisture metre. Stab it into the soil in a few different places for a more accurate reading. Some plants like to be bone dry before watering as they hold their water in a number of ways (rhizomes, trunk, stem and leaves) others like to be watered when the first 2 inches of soil has dried out. You can also use a clean wooden skewer to check the soil. If it comes out with no soil attached it's dry and if soils attached to the wooden stick the soil is still moist and doesn't need watered.
Also the pothos (I think it is) in the clips in your bedroom needs a little more light. That's why you are getting bare vines and then a lot of leaves near the bottom. Look up pothos water propagation and cut the bare vine back. You'll be able to root it in water and grow more plants which you can then add to the mother plant and make her fuller.
Learn about your plants needs for feeding/fertilising and it's light requirements. No plant like complete shade some plants are just tolerant to it but that doesn't mean it will thrive or grow much.
Take your big plants outside to water and wash their leaves, helps with pests and photosynthesis. Add perlite and orchid bark to your soil of choice so the soil doesn't retain the moisture that then causes root rot and pests.
