Beautiful country with a lot of dope historic stuff to see and it was cool to see ancient ruins and be like "yo I saw this place how it looked over 2000 years ago while playing ac odyssey"

They are not preserved because of Christianity and Islam .we do have museums and temples are literally everywhere .I realized I have 4 near my house and one of them is so near me but I don't even think the government knows about it (it is really deep in the forest and it's really small )

The statue of Zeus was just relocated to Constantinople along with other works of art from Antiquity (like the Aphrodite of Cnidus).
It was preserved in the collection of the House of Lausus but all the building and the entire collection was destroyed during the fire of 475.

I love Greek History. I believe in their Gods. I only see some of the most ridiculous stories as Myth. Otherwise, I believe the more Hellenistic beliefs. I can't seem to hear enough, I am just that interested. In Gods and Goddesses. They are basically the same as Christianity but then Christian beliefs stem mostly from the Greek and Gaelic beliefs more than anything else. They only add BS to get people to believe with scare tactics. Thank you so much. My Dad was baptized at the Greek Orthodox Church in Austria. Before coming to Canada with his entire family at age six. We attended the Toman Catholic church for my Mom, but my Dad and I believed in much of the Greek beliefs. 6, years this month they have been gone now. I sure miss them. Especially right now. My husband I'd in the hospital with a spontaneous Collapse of his one lung. And it is not improving. 😧🙁😥
