Well, it was both a remaster and on a new console previously not available before.
Was my first time playing it and it was damn awesome
mc/NES yessss castle crashers is a game i reccomend EVERYONE plays.

@@tonirod3483 nah man trust me sometimes ut takes a fair bit of time to beat some bosses in your firdt playthrough. My first playthrough i dont recall many bosses i beat first try but it made me wanna keep playing. On my 2nd playthrough i was able to beat a lot of em just brcause i figured out how to adjust my fight style and charms

Don't care what anyone says: Indie games are great and I'm glad they exist and have way more spotlight now. Because of these games, we almost ALWAYS have a massive library of games to play at any given point. Don't have to wait for the big AAA games to drop.
Indie games are for poor players who cannot pay AAA and real game, sorry :(

Just gonna say it--Untitled Goose Game is my game of the year. It's short and the controls can be frustrating, but there's an endless charm to it and seeing that goose waddle around always brings a smile to me. It's like exploring a town from an Aardman film, and gleefully wrecking it.

this year was just ludicrous with the amount of main stream and Indie titles that were released. I am ashamed that River City Girls, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Gato Roboto were not on this list. River City Girls was hands down one of the best Beat Em Ups to come out in a good while and Sayonara Wild Hearts was visually stunning. Both also had Amazing Soundtracks which made them even more memorable. Untitled Goose Game is however deserving of all the phrase in the world.

Definitely a great lineup this year. My favorite is Slay the Spire. Something about that game just makes it instantly addictive. It's very approachable but still challenging. Then, of course, Katana Zero is one of the most stylish games to come along this year. I've played quite a few of these and reviewed several as well, but those two definitely stand out.

I had a hard time recommending Bloodstained after I clipped through the floor during the Double Dragon.

The last couple of years have been amazing in terms of indie games. So many excellent titles
Blasphemous and torchlight 2 are amazing get them while they are on sale now

Jude Shotwell i am pretty sure that this was the reason why hollow knight wasn’t included. Hollow knight was really often in the monthly charts. So they probably didn’t added it because of the release date
This was a fantastic year for Indies overall. Nintendo had a pretty solid lineup as well.
Way of the Passive Fist is a hidden gem.

man I personally can't believe that all these games from the past are coming together in one series of games available for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo believe me when I tell you congratulations you've done it once again and for the record I seriously hope you make another game just like this and maybe with some more games and characters from the early mid or late 80's 90's and of course early 2000's ranging from 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 and of course 2005.
It hurts my brain how many people in the comment section do not understand that this video is only mentioning the BEST SELLING 2019 INDIE GAMES, that's it.

Undertale is an older game. Just because Toby added one extra fight, it doesn't make the game exactly new.
Undertake likely missed this list due to releasing in 2018, not 2019. I'm sure it made last year's list. All the ones here released on Switch 2019.

30% for Terraria? That’s the best they could do? It’s 75% off on PlayStation and it originally costs 20$ which makes it 5$ right now, but on Switch it’s originally 30$ but only 30% off? That’s unfair

They do need to recoup more for dev time spent for the Switch. Nintendo might also have a higher fee. Terraria has been on PlayStation for a very long time so at this point they're trying to sell to people who still haven't bought it. Nintendo users are also going to have to rebuy and they know fans will pay more if they really want it. Sadly, that's the same with most of Nintendos games 3rd party or not.
Yeah it's just because it was recently ported to the Switch. They can still make a lot of money on the early buyers for the Switch port. It's normally $10 on PC as well and is 50% off, making it $5 just like on PS4.
That isn't nintendo fault. Re-logic set that price.
