My aunt used to make candy like that for years of her life. She says that (at least for her) her arms never stopped getting sore from all the hard work... And besides that, the high temperature of the sugar (you have to stretch the candy when it's still hot) burnt her hands permanently even though she always wore gloves :-O

The fact that they layer up different colours to make a massive, thick role of candy and then they stretch it out and it says ‘Thank you’, it is incredible. Such a satisfying process, it is so clever!

처음에 만드실 때는 무슨 모양을 만드시는지 몰라서 그냥 여러색깔을 붙여서 자연스럽게 하나처럼 되는걸 신기하게 보고 있었는데 스마일 사탕이었군요! 어느순간 완성되어 있어서 놀랐습니다. ㅎㅎ 정말 귀여운 스마일입니다.ㅎㅎㅎ

me too! I thought it was just a swirl at first, and then the camera got closer and I was like: "Hold up, wait a minute!"
The neat lettering, rows of colours, no bulky ends, absolutely uniform size of the candy rods and cut pieces are unlike any seen on other candy channels on KRplus. It's not even powdering down when they cut. Plus they are cutting so uniformly!! Incredible!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, as a matter of fact, I follow Lofty Pursuits. What's great about their videos is that Greg, the owner gives trivia and there's always something new to learn about the candies he makes. It's fun to watch his videos.
Also, there are just a few differences I noticed from the eyes of a designer in the candy assembling process. Being dirty was never the issue here.
