They’re actually quite different! Rock pikmin don’t have the carrying strength of Ten Pikmin like the purples do, and they don’t move as slowly. Purple Pikmin can dive bomb, and cling on to enemies, while rock pikmin can’t. Rock Pikmin are also invulnerable to bring crushed, while Purples aren’t!

Nah, the graphics are so bad the average consumer will skim over it without a second thought. Compared to the graphics of something like Spider-Man Miles Morales, this game looks like an ancient relic.

Hopefully it does well, I personally have it on the Wii U and didn't love it enough to get it again, but still would reccomend trying it.

@@Isaax While it's not vastly improved on the graphics and frame rate it works fine enough in 720p and to a lot of people Co-op is huge, plus it's like having the original DLC and another DLC on top if that content wise, while I played it on the Wii U and won't be getting it again, I recommend at least trying the demo
If you didnt buy the original on Wii U, buy this, its 100% worth it

Never played pikmin. Tried the demo and I loved it! I thought it's just some cute goofy nintendo game but I'm actually surprised how I enjoyed the gameplay.
Also the pikmins give me anxiety like please don't die. I'll protect u!

After playing the demo, I gotta say, the controls for me are super smooth, the pikmin feel a tad smarter and faster, and having charged just assigned to a button and it only sends one group of pikmin at a time, I really can't go back to the wii u version after this, I'm spoiled lol
i like the revamped lock on feature, it really helps if you have joycon drift

I’ve always wanted to see a Pikmin game that has night missions. We only get to see nightfall when we put the Pikmin back in the Onions and head back into the atmosphere.
They can do so much more with this series, curious what they will do for Pikmin 4.

this is the first pikmin game ive ever owned and im obsessed, i love it!! i’ve been recommending to all my friends
I think if they ever make Pikmin 4 they should bring back the White and Purple Pikmin and maybe have a new Pikmin. The story will go that Planet Hocotate, and Koppai plan to inhabit PNF 404 so they need to build a little monster proof city, collect food to farm, grow and plant tons of pikmin.... and encounter something..... big. The Huge pikmin, or Humin... as they call it. Given how space travel works.... what with time Dilation and all.
MrDan Dog I feel like white and purple aren’t well balanced for main game play. Purple have strength of 10? It’s too powerful. And white kill anything that eats them? That makes combat trivial. I see why they were omitted from the main game. But I agree on a new Pikmin... maybe. Can’t really think of any other needed ability.

@@garretholland7593 no, they weren't. They also mentioned seperate handheld and console teams and there was no need to do that if Hey Pikmin was 4.
@@badlatency9979 I believe that they released the "Deluxe" version of Pikmin 3 to test the waters in a sense to see if there is still potential, which many people already believed. I guess depending on how well the game sells, which it seems to be doing good already before release, there might be a higher likelihood of an upcoming Pikmin 4.
@@mikee2725 I doubt that. Nintendo doesn't really "test the waters" of long established, if niche, franchises with ports. I think this was to serve as filler in the release schedule, like all the other Wii U ports, and to give people who never owned one a chance to play this game.
I think Pikmin 4 was scrapped and restarted development. Possibly more than once. I think it's still coming but isn't ready.

Funnily enough the old Gamecube model for Bulbmin are in the files for Pikmin 3. So some level of consideration was made for their inclusion

It's possible if the size is noticeably smaller then that might mean they scrubbed it out but maybe hard to tell for sure. We'll have to wait and see once people start exploring the files (Also missed opportunity to put them in the Olimar Side Stories)

@@gaminwatch8203 The fact that they retooled Mission Mode to give us a new campaign tells me Nintendo themselves are hesitant with the budget and want to see how well it does before they start thinking of bigger things (like greenlighting Pikmin 4) Pikmin still has yet to prove itself as a successful series. Us Pikmin fans know what it's capable of

Haven’t you noticed that the word “Deluxe” is spelled in gold flowers, a colour of pikmin flower we haven’t seen yet.
I would like more colors in number 4, black, brown, green, orange, silver, gold...and to bring white and purple ones back.

This is so awesome, but I can't believe Nintendo _still_ didn't implement online support for Pikmin 3's co-op and multiplayer. It's 2020, they had another opportunity to do it in this Deluxe version, and they blew it *again.* I want to be able to play with a friend and not have to share a screen.

Thats not a bad idea about the standard pikmin but they're a bit weak. Earth Pikmin seem awesome though but they kinda tried to do that with the Rock Pikmin
How about a dark green Thorn pikmin that latches onto enemies and doesnt get shaken off quite as easily?

I don't think adding more missions and adding co-op to the main game is simply a port. Also, if you haven't played them then they're worth it.
