As a girl who is 160cm tall I think it’s flattering that so many boys prefer my height, but also, I don’t want any girls to think they are less pretty than others just because of height! Let’s all remember it’s something about ourselves that we cannot change or control and to love ourselves regardless!

Being 150 is more hard than people think, especially if you’re looking for dresses . They’re usually too long for you , even the smallest sizes . I could go with the oversized trends , but I don’t like that style in general. It’s hard to shop for clothes when you’re stuck in such an awkward height . Too small for adults section , and too big for the kid section (I wouldn’t really go for it either anyway 😅).

as a girl who's 180, it made me happy that at least one person chose the tallest girl. i feel like a lot of the time people tend to see taller girls as "masculine" and guys worry too much about the way they'd look with a taller girl by their side. we're feminine, too! being taller doesn't mean we're brutes or that we're always strong, heavy and dominant...
edit: guys! i wanna clarify two things!
1) i didn't mean to say that being tall immediately meant being masculine, and even if that were the case, there's nothing wrong with being a tomboy! it's just that very often we have to "compensate" by being overly feminine to avoid being called "scary" or "intimidating". but there's nothing wrong with that if you like being dominant ❤️
2) i can't speak for all tall girls but i wouldn't mind a shorter guy! i don't think it matters. short guys, if you like a tall girl, go for it! be confident because being insecure isn't attractive to anyone.

As a woman who is 170 cm, I was pleasantly surprised that the majority of the men chose my height. Where I am from, 162 cm is the average height for women, so this makes me feel happy and appreciated :)

Im 170cm and honestly thought that they would all go for 160cm. But this was a confidence booster. It was also nice that everyone's height got chosen. Its nice to know that everyone has a different type and although you may not fit in societies beauty standard you can always be beautiful to someone. [Edit: Ok looking at this comment much later Im surprised it got so many likes. I realize I may not be the tallest to be saying this, only that where I live the average is much shorter- and so are the expectations. But my opinion doesn't change. I like some traits in guys that other women wouldn't typically go after. So why wouldnt it be the other way around :)]

It's nice they included taller women as well! As a woman who is about 176cm, I feel like I identified most with the 180 cm girl. It's been nice reading the comments here to find other tall women with similar experiences ^^. Women are women, and being taller doesn't automatically make you more masculine, tough, or strong (however, if you do identify with those traits, that is perfectly fine too). We also want to feel the same as our shorter girlfriends as well - we can also feel like we want to be protected as well. Having lived in Korea before, I would agree with comments here that Korean (men) seem to place a big importance on height. I have been told not to wear heels, and also had a male acquaintance move to another part of the line because he didn't want to stand beside a girl who is taller than him. I know everyone has their own individual experiences, but I do think that it can sometimes be tough for taller women, since sometimes these assumptions that we are masculine, strong, can protect ourselves easily, etc are made about us. Tall men are almost always seen as attractive, but unfortunately, the same does not apply to women.

I’m glad that they all got picked by at least one person- I know that height is often something people they wish they could change. I’m tall but me and my shorter friends have talked about how we both feel insecure about our heights. Guess we often want what we don’t have.

For a westerner, I'm very very short at 154cm compared to the average, so it's always been a huge insecurity for me here. The main problem is people treating you like a child. Even today I was at a bar but all I wanted was a bottle of water and they told me very condescendingly, "sorry but you need to have your parent accompany you" and I had to tell them that I'm an adult and provide my licence lol. I think this video is nice for everyone showing that there's good things about all heights!

There's not many comments about appreciating short girls, so as a fellow 150ish gang I feel relieved that one of the boys chose the 150 girl. Height is such a big insecurity for many people, and as for girls the ideal height starts mostly from 158cm+ Which leaves the shorter gang stranded. Short girls are mostly seen as a cute and child like person, and gets treated like their sister/friend instead of seeing them in a romantic light in most cases.

I reached 171cm when in 8th grade and guys around me were all into small girls which made me felt really conscious about my height and even felt bad. But growing older things started to change and I even got compliments from girls for my height. I feel amazed and I just want to say that everyone has his/her way of beauty. It doesn’t matter if you are unique or different. You’ll be loved. xoxo💋 🥰

Saying this as someone who's 177cm, honestly if you feel intimidated by someone being taller than you and judge them by the cover, then that's on you. I sincerely dont care if my partner were to be taller or shorter than me, as long as we can be comfortable with one another. Of course, perhaps if it was an extreme height gap it would be a bit difficult to interact physically sometimes, but the heart is what matters most. If people want it, then both make the effort to make it work

being 150cm is cute and all, but what’s hard is how clothes doesn’t fit you right sometimes. wearing baggy clothes makes you look so much shorter, wearing anything long doesn’t compliment you the way you want. it’s a pain

My female friends always tell me "it must be easy to get a boyfriend bcos most guys are taller than you" but I totally disagree and said "no, guys won't even want to date me bcos they think I'm a minor and they don't see me as a women." The guy that said that all have their own charm is absolutely spot on. Honestly, I’ve had super hard crushes on both a girl way taller than me and a girl way shorter than me, and I’ve never ever wished one of them was a different height. All heights have SO much to like and are so unique to the person, and even though having preferences is ok, a lot of guys that prefer one over the other just haven’t met a girl they like with the height opposite to the one they say they prefer. It just breaks my heart in two to hear about girls ashamed of their own height when they don’t realize they absolutely rock how tall they are.

I’m so glad as a tall woman that my husband encourages me to wear heels even though he is shorter than me. I’ve always struggled with my femininity during my teenage years, I felt that since I was so tall I couldn’t be feminine or wear feminine clothes/shoes, thankfully as I got older my confidence grew and now I’m not ashamed of being tall. I bought my first pair of heels this year and I will continue to wear what I want and what I find beautiful.

I cried when my best friend called my boyfriend (his best friend too) a pedo for dating me because I was 5ft exacty (~152cm), even though I'm older by a couple of months. My boyfriend later told him off and said that I was perfect. I wish I were taller so that he wouldn't keep doing this, but I appreciate that we all have our own charms. It helps to think that I'm not here to impress anyone except my partner and I.

seeing the 1.72m girl get chosen the most made me feel good since i am 1.73m myself however the prejudices about tall women are so annoying .. just because we're tall does not mean we are more masculine or stronger and wouldnt need protection (which in south korea caused a judge to not believe a woman who was over 1.70m with a sexual assault case bc he said since shes tall she could protect herself). a persons height has NOTHING to do with their personality or gender expression
edit: there is nothing wrong with being masculine!! everyone is masculine and feminine, no one is just one of those things. i was just annoyed with the instant assumption from people towards us tall women that we are always bossy and bitchy and hard to approach, even mean etc. i can be bossy, but thats not all there is to my personality

I'm a little sad actually when 150 is considered the shortest height for girls. I grew up being ridiculed by many people because of my height (140cm). I couldn't really live my life because I feel pressured to stay childish to match my size. Because of my size, I feel like I don't have the right to be an adult. I lose my confidence many times when giving my opinion in my workplace. Growing up surrounded by judgemental people made me being judgemental of myself and that mindset of mine is hard to change when I'm basically born molded with that thought of despising my own height.

I feel so much appreciated as a 170 woman! It makes me feel comfortable of my height, after seeing this I felt so happy about it tbh. It's like 170 is the height almost a guy want. But at the same time a lot of other people likes them smaller/taller but I'm so glad that I saw this video tbh.

I feel like many men have this misconception of taller girls “not giving as good hugs as shorter girls” because they don’t go to your chest , and whatnot. В 17 я был ростом 168 и у меня не было проблем с тем, чтобы девушка была выше. В 19 я подрос до 173 и по-прежнему не было никаких проблем. А сейчас мне 24 и мой рост составляет 179, при весе в 83 кг (хожу регулярно зал). Думаю все дело в изначальной уверенности в себе. А вообще, на длинну тела повлиять никак нельзя и если тебе понравилась девушка выше тебя, почему бы не начать ухаживать. Моя первая любовь была выше меня на 12 см. А сейчас я в отношениях с девушкой ниже на 21 см. Когда искренне любишь человека, тебе полностью все равно на его рост)

I am 160cm tall girl and tbh I've never really thought abt my height. But since I have shorter and taller friends I'm thankful I'm the medium height girl. Sometimes I feel jealous for some of my petite friend who seems so likeable for being cute. And I'm introvert I don't really like being seen by lots of ppl I love being invisible I guess my height, 160cm is great at helping me to be invisible enough. Bcs being shortest or tallest could easily grab ppl attention and I don't want that.

I’m 1,51 and I appreciate the idea of looking shorter and “delicate” (in certain ways) next to a man. When I was younger, I wanted to be tall, but learned to accept my height. It’s not that bad. Every height has their qualities and every woman is different from each other. I’m glad that one of the guys has chosen my height :p

I'm about 174cm and my niece is about 180cm. She always refers to herself as "big"! I correct her by telling her she's built like a supermodel . She doesn't like to be looked at, she says, because she stands out due to her height. I told her people will notice her because she's beautiful and has the most incredible long legs, so go ahead and wear whatever shoes or clothes she wants. I bought her an adorable skirt and jacket. (She's 16) . I've even bought her cowboy boots.
Maybe guys don't feel protective of tall women as much, but I told her that we're strong and capable. ( as all women should be) Project confidence and you'll look great.
Most of all, I said that you can't change your height, so wear what you like and own it. Just carry yourself confidently and people will see that. If you have to, fake it till you make it. I encouraged her to go for the purple mini and red stilettos if she wants.
Always be honest, and always be kind. If you're not popular with the boys in high school, then they're obviously blind. They're also teenagers and we know teenaged boys are insecure. (Sorry guys, but a lot of boys aren't used to the whole attraction and dating thing either. Fear of rejection is real for both sexes.)
I also suggested that she never date a guy who spends more time on his hair than she does.
