Pretty telling why Mangini has never coached in the NFL again since his last firing. The goofball is only on these shows for comic relief.
@@Chebornek😂 get to Alex smith level 😂😂😂😂😂😂 man yea straight comedy relief
@@Chebornek😂😂😂
@@ChebornekI can’t stand Mangina-always riding the Patriots coattails like he had anything to do with it, and using Brady’s whole career to run down Mahomes. It took Brady 12 years to get to 6 AFC championships

"To get to the Alex Smith level is a pretty steep climb" 😂😂😂
Worst take I have ever heard
Alec Smith was a MVP candidate his last couple of seasons in KC. he was playing really good football. just couldn't do it in the playoffs.
Gotta love these old farts jerking off over Alex Smith’s 28 td season like it’s 2005. Mahomes would only go on to throw 50 tds and have one of the best Qb seasons ever…
since thiis take aired...🤣🤣🤣Mahomes now working on his 4th SB WIN and 6th appearance in what? ... 7 years?... 3 SB MVP'S?💪💪💪Been AFC CHAMPS EVERY SINGLE YEAR SO FAR💥💥💥And the season they are talking about in this video Mahomes got over 5,000 yards and 50 Touchdowns🤑🤑🤑 ... And unanimously in The GOAT conversation....all before is 28th B-Day... The only big challenge has left is balancing football and family (he is a recent father), vanity, and father time eventually... so far HE IS A BOSS!...SHOUT OUT TO ALEX SMITH THOUGH HE WAS A GREAT HELP TO MAHOMES IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR...
Who else is here after Mahomes won his 3rd Super Bowl?
Me!!!😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Right here! Tracksuit Mafia unite under wright's banner!
Mangini, in a skeptical tone of voice, "Is he gonna throw 42 touchdowns and 10 picks?"
Nope, he threw 50 touchdowns and 12 picks in his first full season.
He would’ve said will he be in 4 sbs in 5 years 😂
and got mvp lol
Mangini has been a hater from day one.
@@KChiefs12 he still is a hater. He picked every team to beat the chiefs and that didn’t happen. Bro just hates his bf Brady might get dethroned

And 2 losses to Brady
@@Elias_Soto offsides call had nothing to do with Pat and O line not playing in that superbowl against a defense that carried Brady to his last ring LOL
Nick was crazy for thinking they'd average 30 points a game...when they had 35!
Revisitng this just before Mahomes plays the 49ers for his 4 superbowl appearance in 6 years
This one just popped up for me too.
EM: Alex Smith in 2017: "28 TDs," (it was actually 26, 27 if you count his rushingTD) "5 INTs, 67% completion percentage...."
Mahomes in 2018: 50 TDs (plus 2 rushing TDs), 12 INTs, 66% completion percentage
EM: "When he throws the 3 INTs..."
Mahomes in 2018: 1 game with 3 INTs, same game he had his only two lost fumbles, also same game he had 478 yards passing on 72% completions with 6 TDs (albeit, in a loss).
Nick: "Good thing they're going to score 30pts per game."
KC in 2018: 35pts/game
CC: "They'll have 11 TOs before Halloween."
KC in 2018: Just 7 TOs before Halloween, only 19 all year, despite Mahomes' one 5 TO game.
EM: "There's a volume of DEFs he has not seen."
Mahomes in 2018: Like nothing NFL defenses had ever seen.
EM: "What does that mean, he's gonna throw 42 TDs and 10 picks?"
Mahomes in 2018: 50 TDs and 12 picks.
Nick: Thought KC could do better than in 2017 when they finished 6th in points, 5th in yards, 2nd in yards per play and 29th in RZ efficiency.
KC in 2018: 1st in points, yards and yards per play, 2nd in RZ efficiency.
CC: "They won't improve this year.... The problem about driving that Ferrari, it's gonna be cool in the summer, but come those KC winters...."
Mahomes in 2018 after Dec 1: 7 games, 2042 yards (292/game) on 62% completions with 16 TDs against just 2 INTs.
Nice call, Nick.
Classic category 2. Never a doubt.

Nick’s take aged well 😂
I love how this popped up on my KRplus. This was so much fun listening to
Revisiting this after chiefs 3rd ring with 3 SB MVPs for Patrick is such a joy
Nick Wright the homer was spot on.
Little do they know, he is now the MVP with 50 TD’s and 5,000 Passing Yards and has taken the Chiefs to the first ever Home AFC Championship, which is something Alex Smith couldn’t do.
And still adding 😉
2 time SB champion 🏆
@@WaveRider1989 2 time mvp and 2 time Super Bowl mvp haha what a game
Ya but what has he done lately
Little does the commenter know that Mahomes would take the Chiefs to 5 straight home AFC championship games, win 2 super bowls and 2 MVPs!
These videos always start popping up in my recommendations this time of year. Chris and Coach make fun of Nick so much in these early videos. He was dead on with everything.

There's a reason Eric Mangini failed as an NFL coach. I wouldnt be listening to him...
lol for real...he hates on everything lol
He trash
Totally agree. He is just missing the main point. Mahomes shattered an NFL record in the FIRST two games this season. Peyton didn't do it until 2013? Mahomes figured out pre-snap how to deceive the defense with look aways and mismatches. This coach has some bias against the Chiefs. Get on the bandwagon...the Mahomes era shows not just potential, he already lit up the NFL by storm. There is NO defense that can cover the space Mahomes can hit with his arm with the weapons he has.
"Let's slow down and..." yeah that's why he's sitting in front of a camera, like AALLLL of Belichiks so-called 'protoges'.
I’m from the future. Good take.
Coach Mangini: Ferrari Mahomes threw for 50 TD 12 int. Even your sarcastic take went short by 10 TD. Cris Carter: the chiefs improved 2 games with Ferrari Mahomes

Revisiting in 2023. How many 3 interception games has Mahomes had one might ask: 3 times in since he was drafted in 2017. He also threw 3, 2 and 6 TD's in those games. How many 300 Yard Games had Mahomes had? The answer is 41. How many 3 TD games has he had? 36. I would say that is a great ratio.
Oh yeah - he has 3 Super Bowl Appearances, 2 Super Bowl victories with 2 Super Bowl MVPs and 2 League MVPs.
And add another SB MVP and Ring to their Dynasty 🎉
Wow First things First is so much better now 😂

Chiefs and Mahomes could have at least one more ring or two if they didn’t cut Kareem hunt
Agreeed. Prime hunt was a dawg!
Totally agree, and Hunt has never been the same either.
Watching this in 2024 is absolute gold. "Get on Alex Smith's level" and my boy Nick. Rocking an "Eminem at home" kind of look 😂😂
why do pundits think a QB who had over 40TDs in his final college season of 12 games and just 10 total picks, is gonna have a bunch of 3 interception games? He has improved weapons over last season. He learned from Alex "This is how you take care of the football" Smith for a full season. He threw to backups vs Denver's starting defense who wanted nothing more than to destroy his confidence and threw just 1 pick. He left the game with the lead, then came back in when Tyler Bray fumbled the lead away and orchestrated a perfect game winning drive. This season I think he takes care of the football, throws upwards of 45 TDs with no more than a dozen picks and the Chiefs three-peat as AFC West Champs.
You were pretty spot on! You should be an analyst for these guys. Get rid of Erica Mangina once and for all.
Dude this aged well
Mangini. Proving why he failed at everything he did. Just riding on the coat tails of Belichick and keeps getting chances he doesn't deserve. He needs to go the way of Chris Carter. And Chris, who is it that was fired? Nice!

CC, “He’s gonna and a good quarterback, it’s gonna take some time…”
Proceeded to throw 50 TD’s and win the MVP 😂

Look at the Chiefs quarterbacks in history and tell me the growing pains wont be worth it in the end...
There were zero growing pains friend
It’s crazy how they thought Alex Smith was the bar😂😂😂😂😂
I like how Eric says 42 TDs and 10 picks as if he is being hyperbolic 😂😂😂 he had no idea how close he was
Look the Chiefs have the most dynamic offense in the league. It’s the defense that will be tough. Reminds me of the 2003 Chiefs.
EDIT: YEAH IM BACK AND I CALLED THIS

Eric Mangini sounds dumb. Alex's decision making on the RPOs killed us in the 2nd half against Tennessee.
Brambo KcCheefin that’s just one game, 9 times out of 10 alex would make the right choice.
@@Lost.in.Missouri idk about all that but this game in particular was the biggest game of the year. He wasnt only to blame but always fails us in the biggest of games for at least one whole half.
Davonte Taylor actually Alex Smith’s decision making cost the Chiefs about 4 games (vs the Steelers, Bills, Giants, and the Titans) with that said, the Chiefs could’ve went 14-2 or 13-3 but Alex’s conservative nature held them back.
Dxxminique People just look at the season ending stats he had. They forget how many GW drive opportunities Alex had during their losing streak and choked in the clutch. His checks in the Titans game second half was horrific. Not to mention he had open receivers down field and decided to scramble on a huge 3rd down taking a sack.
They beat Tennessee if Kelcie doesn't get hurt.
Mangini said Mahomes isnt going to just step in amd play at Alex Smith level. He was right. He played at Tom Brady and Peyton Manning level, joining them as the only three QB's to throw 5k yards and 50 tds in a single season. His first year. Oh btw he just won his 3rd SB in 5 seasons. 😂
