@Al 72 jealous monolingual (american)

@Dude incorrect, watch it all closely.
@Dude this is actually incorrect. He knows a just over handfull fluently. Other than that if you watch all his videos, you'll get majority of the languages you listed as he responds to the languages towards 'I know how to speak your language'. This was actually pointed out by so many comments with him knowing replies that had double meaning. 'Im a teacher and a student'. 'I have a teacher'. And pretty much the basic. So no, he isnt fluent. And if i remember, he admitted he wasnt even fluent but knew the basics 'how are you' 'im good'. So the list you provided, I know for a fact he isnt fluent in atleast half of what was listed.

3:20 two non-Korean ladies/strangers talking to each other in Korean... I've never thought I'd see this day in my life wow :)
Happens all the time in Korea. When I've lived in Korea, all the French Koreaboos (they always heavily flirted with my Korean guy friends whenever I invited them - idk what it is with French and Russian girls targetting Korean boys that excessively) would insist on speaking in their broken Korean with me instead of just switching to English. It sounds cool when I say it like that, but in reality it was more annoying, as they were nowhere nearly as fluent as this Spanish lady in this video here. damn twelve languages? how smart she must be, people like her have my all respect 🙏
You don't have to be smart to learn languages. Just committed. I learned 3 growing up speaking it naturally, and 3 more through sheer effort (although my Italian needs a LOT of work haha).
@@jchen8902 +1. I think that some people learn quicker or better than others, it's not necessarily about intelligence, though memory capacity, pattern recognition etc. are connected to intelligence. Nevertheless I do myself respect people who speak multiple languages more than let's say monolinguals.
In case you are ever interested in learning a language, you don't have to be smart to learn it and learn another one after, even both at the same time (not recommended though). As I see it, you just need a motivation, and time. For the record, I'm 15 and I must have the most common intelligence level in the world, and still i speak spanish, english and italian, first one is my native, the second one I learned it with a teacher and third one on my own
@@valentinpoggio5389 how do you learn languages on your own? i’ve tried all the apps like duolingo and stuff but they only teach the basics and i want to be fluent
I learned to learn languages on my own using a video on Kaufman's theory to learn anything in 20 hours, and since I wanted to learn Italian and that was precisely the skill that the video used as an example, some steps were already done, so it was easier for me. The bad thing is that the video is in spanish, so I don't think it'd be useful to you, but there's a lot of videos on Kaufman's theory in english. Nathaniel Drew has great videos about how he learns languages on his own, those were also really helpful to me, and although he doesn't use Kaufman's method, his methods are quite similar. And last but not least, NEVER use Duolingo or those sort of apps as a unique source of learning, they can be useful for vocabulary for example, but they're not at all something that will teach you to speak fluently. Hope that helps

Simon Gras I dunno bout that but i do know that alphabet was so perfectly created you can read most korean in under 10 days... even like a day if you were that good
Feel 4:44
@@simongras2092 No. You're referring to Hangul, which was indeed created in a very short period of time, but Hangul isn't a language. It isn't even a script. It's simply a phonetic alphabet used to pronounce Korean. It would be similar to Katakana in Japanese, Pinyin in Chinese, or the IPA for languages in general.
South Korea doesn't actually have its own script, which is why even today historical, government, artistic - basically anything that requires a high degree of specificity - must be written in Chinese (Hanja). However, most Koreans don't know their Chinese very well, leading to the current practice where most written Korean is using Hangul. But if you want to get a senior level position anywhere, you better take your time and learn/relearn Chinese.

@@adventuresofsven2314 creo que ella esta hablando sobre fonicos y los similitudes de dos lenguas.
Not really. If you hear Jangmin, the half Korean half Spanish guy from World of Dave speak Korean, he has a thick Spanish accent. I am Korean Argentine, and have half Korean half Argentine cousins, and they have a very thick accent when they speak Korean. Same with my mom. She has a Korean accent when speaking Spanish. At times, she has a hard time differentiating the L and R, because in Korean we use one letter to do both sounds.

So much respect for that girl. Speaking 12 languages like that is hugely impressive and very hard. If I could chose between any skill I would chose that.
@G P how many languages can you speak?
Sorry, but it's not. She doesn't seem to be able to have a long conversation and her vocabulary seems to be very poor. Sometimes I wonder whether people are racing for who learns most languages. To me it's nonsense bragging around. I just learn a language because I want to have a deeper connection to that place and because I know that I will need it in the future and I will visit that place quite often. Languages are forgotten so easily if you don't take them to a solid B2 level. What impresses me, honestly, that's people who can talk about ANY topic in 8 different languages. Only THEN I will feel impressed.
@@momonatu4998 Just because she can't show her potential in 5 minutes, doesn't mean she can't have a long and deep conversation. She was literally jumping from one language to another in seconds, and yk... it's hard. There're many studies that confirm that when you learn other languages, your knowledge of words tends to get a bit small...
@@oscarlarrea6704 That's not necessarily true, it also depends very much on your level of education. I think you can have a short conversation within a couple of minutes beyond "hello, how are you". Jumping between languages is not that hard, maybe you have some interference at the beginning but you can communicate, if you really know. It is hard, if you have beginner skills.
@@momonatu4998 Why cant you be impressed by other people's skills, there is no need to be rude. If you watch her videos you can clearly see that she is quite comfortable in all the languages (maybe other than Russian and Arabic). She's lived in or studied in most of the countries whos languages she's speaking. It is really difficult to speak languages comfortably when you constantly have to quickly switch between them and while you're trying to keep up a character. Honestly I wanna know how many languages you speak because I speak 3 fluently and even then switching languages is really difficult.

I've been watching turkish series for couple of months and it gives me hard time to learn lol😀😆
This girl is literally a human Google translate...
Darksider95 😂😂😂😂 this is so accurate
Not even google translate can compares to her at precision aspect lol
Better than that crap
Nah, Google Translate is shit. It often translates sentences way too literally thus completely misses the original context due to the complex nature of language itself. After all these years, there has been no improvement in that regard.

얼마나 많은 노력을했을까
존경스럽네

Christine is such a cutiepie, wow! :) And the languages aren't just a few words, it's all really well pronounced, even German sounded like actual German! :)

weebs : NaNiiiii 1!1!1!
@S M yes it is. Gotta admit it😞
S M why
There is no way one can attain that level of Japanese just by watching anime lol
@@mauricebarrow7312 there is I mean Japanese watch it lol I don't understand
In terms of grammar it would be hard I think... But sure you can pick up some words...
I'm not a Korean nor do I speak Korean language but I can tell that the white girl is so fluent in speaking Korean language and she sounds like a native speaker. :))
That white girl is a resident of the Korean that's why she spoke the language fluent
@@bishalchakraborty488 You'd be amazed how many foreigners from other countries live in Korea, and barely know the language.
Yeah I can tell your name is "Paul" even though i'm not Thai ;-)
And yes to the korean speaker, i've seen enough K-dramas to tell she's legit.
She does~!!! I'm a Korean, I can tell how fluent she was,,
If it was off camera, I would say she sounds like a native speaker for me
Um vídeo seu com Gabriel Poliglota seria muito interessante!!
