My Dad had ALS. It was the hardest time for him and my family. He was always a very outgoing and athletic person and then to gradually be stuck in a bed and ventilator. It broke his spirit no matter how hard we tried to lift it. It was heartbreaking. It's a cruel disease.

My grandpa was paralyzed as well but grandma and my uncle never gave up on him until his very last breath. And now when they become old (my grandma is quite young) I wish to take care of them too just like they took care of my grandpa.
