- Eva Longoria joins sommelier André Hueston Mack for a career-spanning conversation while tasting a selection of both expensive and affordable wines, trying to figure out which is which. Eva Longoria will soon make her feature film directorial debut with Searchlight Picture’s Flamin’ Hot, the story of Richard Montañez, the janitor turned creator of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos who disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon. Co-founder of the ultra-premium spirits brand Casa Del Sol Tequila, Longoria’s upcoming travel series, Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico will premiere on CNN in 2023.

Andre needs his own "Bon Appetit: Wine" off-shoot channel. I would watch his content all day. The fact that this channel isn't exclusively his is the only reason I haven't subscribed yet lol.

Love Andre, love this series and I could see this being as popular as the First We Feast Hot Ones with Shawn Evans if more homework was done about the guests so the questions could be deeper and more insightful, which would pair perfectly with Andre's extensive knowledge of wine.

I've had the same thought, glad to see I'm not totally crazy. Andre meets Shawn, wine meets wing. Would also love to see a food paring and the reasoning. But everyday food (spaghetti and meatballs, mac and cheese, shrimp gumbo etc.) not high end resteraunt food.

God, this was fun to watch. Eva (whom I have learnt so much about today!) toed that perfect fine line between pleasantly cocky and deeply knowledgeable, and André is a natural interviewer. Always draws out the best stories and most fun aspects of the guest's personality. Bravo.
She was definitely cocky but she absolutely had the knowledge to back it up! Super impressive!
Eva owned a very upscale restaurant in Hollywood called Beso. As a restauranteur, she definitely knows food, wine and spirits!

Same here, learned so much about Eva. That was a great interview. Like a great dance, there’s the perfect level of tension, which made it fun.
You can tell she's gone toe to toe with sommeliers before, and probably some of the best in the world. You can also tell she respects Andre, he's a real master of the craft.

Love this series. Kind of like a spin off of Hot Ones but more relaxed and I love how you'll be able to mix it up with different wines each time instead of the same lineup!

Somehow, through this episode alone, I have newfound respect for Eva Longoria. Andre is such a great interviewer. His skill as a sommelier (which extends beyond knowledge of wine) is very evident.

It's pretty universally agreed that Andre is great and deserves a more consistent, stand-alone show.
Really impressed with Andre's interviewing and duo skills,. Not saying Eva Longoria was rude or anything, but she can keep a thought going and he was so good at letting the dialogue happen. These people know wine like I know bourbon.

Other than the initial Sauv Blanc, he picked some really interesting wines for this tasting. Good mix of things and can't go wrong ending with Vega Sicilia.
