Street smarts can take you further than you think. I’m not saying it’s better than getting an education. But having some knowledge of the streets can help out in some careers. For example, if more police officers had knowledge of the streets prior to becoming an officer, I guarantee you they’ll approach certain situations differently. You can’t teach or train street smarts. You gotta grow up in that environment.
