"What is BDG doing?"
*"He's starting to believe"*
He is the one
comment of the year. thank you.
he’s almost there
BDG escaped the Matrix ages ago. He's trying to warn the rest of us.
such a good comment, just want to add a bravo to my like.
bdg: [sees an absolutely ridiculous outfit]
“ok so that’s the video”
As he should
Did you mean: [absolutly Fabulouse outfit] ?
I have those glasses! I use them for a Vash the Stampede cosplay.
I want the same outfit but in tweed
or in some cases: [sees three absolutely ridiculous outfits]
My favourite move at the club is also the Look at me, man! I'm 65! I've been living this life for so long. But you've got your whole life ahead of you! You can do the things I never was able to do! You can settle down! Have a family! I was always too afraid I'd turn into my father. And that's why I could only devote myself to my work. But when I met you, I realized that there are good people out there. Folks that are working to make this messed up world a better place! And though I've never had the guts to say it out loud, I've always thought of you as a son. So hang in there, and live. Not for me, not for them, but for yourself. Live for yourself. You hear me? Live for yourself! I'll always love you!

Hi RT
I can't seem to find anyone doing it in my Just Dance songs tho.
Always cool to see RT commenting on BDG's videos
I ship them as friends... FriendShip them
*RT's von Karma voice* Yes, it was I who orchestrated the disaster that ruined the search mission!
This is on brand
why do i feel that brian's creative process consists of impulse shopping and then brainstorming a video that involves the purchase so that he can claim it on tax as a business expense?
Because that's the best way to turn impulse buying into a smart business move. There is no impulse buying, only investments with no purpose yet
He shares that process with Gus Johnson
@@insignificantramblings and now drew gooden as well
Would we have it any other way?

I actually lol'd
I’ll definitely try the “look at me, man! I’m 65! I’ve been living this life for so long. But you’ve got your whole life ahead of you! You can do the things I never was able to do! You can settle down! Have a family! I was always too afraid I’d turn into my father, and that’s why I could only devote myself to my work. "cool moves! what's that dance called?"
Yeah that one really goes hard
I basically invented the "I'm really more of a jam band guy, but this DJ has been playing some interesting choices!"
make sure you say "bdg taught me this move!" or else you arent legally allowed to do it
I'm silly arms
Going from "Did anyone lose this hat" to "New hat!" was easily the most compelling story arc in this video
closely tied with the evolution from "silly arms" to "serious limbs"
Yea who cares about the spaceman, all my homies dance using hat
So disrespectful to "The prop work" and "The Advanced prop work" smh
how dare you disregard the idea of 'shimmy' to 'anti-shimmy'
You dare disrespect the line of invisible jazz clarinet to visible jazz flute but the flute is your arm?
I like that the Chompster's Gambit implies that this dance move is a risk that could potentially potentially pay off in some way for you in the right situation
Perhaps because it would be more effective at a dinner party & not a dance floor?
Also, you could accidentally gobble someone's fingies.

I fear BDG. It's only natural.
The hidden horror of this one is coming back to slow it down to .25 to read everything after you’ve watched the video and realizing just how horrifying it sounds slowed

So, should I yell, "BDG taught me this move!" AFTER or BEFORE telling them the move is called the "Look at me, man! I'm 65! I've been living this life for so long. The “did anyone lose their hat?” followed by the “new hat” made me laugh 😂
Despite the space drama, this was my favourite.

yeah the "new hat" was really good haha
The look on his face is so joyous 😆
If only he could wear it without looking any way at all...
My favourite part is the Patreon credits because it demonstrates exactly how many people are responsible for this.
Every one of them can now appreciate that their $1 was well spent. 8-)
@@Corbomite_Meatballs That specifically says 'Top Patrons'. So those are all of us $10 folks. :)
I’d planned to become a top patron weeks ago - had the page open and everything, but got distracted and never got around to completing it. I could have had my name on this iconic masterpiece if I’d just gotten my shit together.

This video has completely different tones depending on the order in which it was created.
Did Brian purchase the leotard for this bit, or did Brian already have/bought it before and needed to justify his ownership of it?
Is each individual dance just a section of a longer take of Brian just flailing his body and then in post ascribing titles to each?
Did Brian create a list of fake dance move names and perform his interpretation of them?
Perhaps a combination of the 2?
The bdgverse
The "awkward unexpected breakdown transition" is too real, it gets me everytime.
I can't believe he fit the entirety of Interstellar in twenty seconds, all while showing off his amazing and spectacularly jaw dropping dazzling dance moves.
I think you mean Gravity? I could be wrong, but that's the one where George Clooney cuts the tether between him and Sandra bullock
@@thegamesthief no, it's a dance move that Brian David Gilbert invented. Maybe inspired by Gravity though
@@thegamesthief Maybe? But you wanna know a secret? *Gets close to whispering distance* _I haven't watched either, it was supposed to be for a haha funny KRplus comment_
That was george Clooney's monologue in gravity I think
@@m.w.r.1408 Well it definitely wasn't his monologue in gravity; he's played across from Sandra Bullock so he'd never say "you're like the son I never had." Sandra had a son who died or something (I forget) so that might be a reference to that but sandra's character definitely isn't 65 either.
In any case it's definitely a gravity reference and not interstellar
If I yell "bdg taught me this move!" while performing [29. Embracing the void] in the void with nobody around to hear, do I actually make a sound?
Well, there is no sound in space.. so, no
i think it depends on whether or not you have siblings with you.
Yes, just like the tree falling makes a sound its just that no one around is there to hear it
krplus.net/bidio/hMhli4aXlYi0n6A
The void hears you.
bdg drops another banger in the genre of "1-2 minute long list video that takes several times longer than that to watch bc you have to constantly pause, replay, and slow down the video to fully enjoy it"
one of my fav genres, would love more
I feel like Brians 2 motivations for making videos are either A. here is something unsettling that you have to watch multiple times to fully understand or B. look at this ice cream machine/hurdy gurdy/shiny jumpsuit/pair of rollerblades that I own now
Brian is gradually getting more insane as his editing skill increases
instanisty and lack of editing skill krplus.net/bidio/qrtqm4GEnGzSY34
1:39 is a misleading runtime when you need to pause to read each subtitle
Define "gradual"
this is indeed to go even further beyond.
No, his editing skills are just catching up to his sanity.
Unironically love that bdg quit polygon because he wants to focus on the things he wants to do, and then proceeds to make masterpieces like this. It's like, so disconnected from the content he made with polygon, which just makes it all the more impactful, but he's still doing the humor he's always done just with, far more dancing than expected!
if you watched his back catalogue before polygon you would have expected perhaps even more dancing
I'm waiting for his eventual full Broadway production of The Lusty Argonian Maid. There's no way turning that into a dance-heavy musical isn't on the back burners of his mind.
We mourn for the loss if unraveled but revel in the unbridled chaos that is now being bequeathed to us.
@@alfiewebsdale6165 couldn't have said it better myself.
I mean, this really is the spiritual successor to “haha, what?”
The song slightly sounds like a mid-2000s suburban mother's conception of club music, but Brian's dance moves are killing!
The way that The Invisible Jazz Clarinet and The Visible Jazz Flute, But The Flute Is Your Arm are both accompanied by images of saxophones adds a whole new layer of complexity to this video's humour
Brian: " how can I expense an asymmetrical sequin jumpsuit? Hmmm"
Yes exactly

Its a brianspiracy
I mean, he's going to monetize the video and make Patreon bucks from it, so I can't change your mind. You're correct in every way.
Can’t decide if this is perfectly curated, next level content that took weeks of work or if Brian just binged energy drinks and cranked it out in 12 hours because he realized it had been too long since he last posted something

There are two BDG videos about dancing. This one and the sibling dance. Both mention the void of space.
The truth is clear. Someone in this troupe knows the true dance of the void. Perhaps all of them. Which both explains how Brian achieved being his own boss, and how Jake managed to contact his father with the old vhs tapes. Additionally it would explain how he danced his way back to the universe that understood zjierbness. A universe that it was made clear Karen is actually from. Which is presumably why her chromebook was so valuable to the wizard. I'm afraid but I have to explore this further. I must learn the true dance of the void... I must experience zjierbness. It's the only way to get back what is lost.

Embracing the Void isn't just a dance move, it's a way of life.

No, you don’t ever realize what a trial those one piece looks are gonna be until you’re naked on a public toilet, nips in the wind, with your spangly outfit pooled at you ankles- questioning all you choices and trying desperately not to make eye contact through the sizable gap in the stall door with the person washing their hands. Or so I hear.
