The more I hear Dogs, the more I realize that could be Pink Floyd's ultimate masterpiece. The melodic dual guitar leads beginning at 5:44 give me goosebumps.

It's funny you say that because I'm thinking the same exact thing. I came across Brit Floyd and thought let me listen to Dogs. I love the entire Animals album. Personally, Sheep has always been my favorite song on the album even though I consider the entire album to be one long story. It amazes me how deep of a song Dogs is. There's so many layers to it. Each instrument sounds incredible and as a band, Brit Floyd, does an amazing job keeping the Pink Floyd legacy alive.
True, there is something about dogs.

Veteran of 800+ concerts since 1974. I've been blessed and lucky enough to see seemingly every band from ABBA to Zappa and every band/genre in between. Name a band or solo artist and there is a great chance I've seen them live. Saw Pink Floyd during their "Momentary Lapse of Reason" tour and also the "In the Flesh" (Animals) tour. The latter being the 1 show I compare ALL my concerts too. Nothing as of June 2019, has come close to that magical night 42 years ago. June 1977, South Phillys Spectrum, Perfection in a concert is an understatement. I still get goosebumbs thinking back on that evening.
This band however, even though they are advertised as a tribute band,I put them on that "Class A Level", not too be missed. The entire production puts many so called "world famous" acts to shame.If you love the music of Pink Floyd... RUN... don't walk too see them. You will not be disappointed.

Brit Floyd is a band that is close too "flawless" when it comes to "live sound". I hope too see them again some day.
This is honestly the best song i've ever heard in ages, specially because you guys nailed everything, The Guitars, Drums, etc. just... omg.
I remember hearing that riff at 5:43 in. It's the lead part that made me want to play guitar. It literally blew my mind the first time I heard it. They do one hell of a job nailing it here. The tone is spot on!!

There are many Pink Floyd tribute bands....Brit Floyd is by far the BEST! I highly recommend seeing them live. Breathtaking in a single word!
I am 41 and have only recently been exposed to Pink Floyd. I always knew of the songs like money, brick in the wall and comfortably numb that were released on the radio which I didn't mind. However about a year ago I heard Time. That was a masterpiece. That lead me on to the great gig in the sky, pigs, dogs, sheep, run like hell, us and them and a few others. I cant stop playing it. I even go to bed with the song in my head playing and cant turn it off. Cant complain.
P.s This cover band brit floyd does an exceptional job.

It pretty much sounds exactly like the album version from Animals! So good! You listen 🎶 to the original and then this, it's nearly identical. No wonder David Gilmour himself was proud of how great and talented these musicians are. Brit Floyd or Aussie Pink Floyd show as they used to be, had David's blessing and Roger Waters permission to play their songs. They've really perfected everything right down to a T. Guitars,vocals etc. David was so impressed, that one time he said "They play better than we do!" They've earned their spot as THE Pink Floyd Show or World's Greatest Pink Floyd Tribute. Echoes Of Pink Floyd are good too. But not even close to these guys!
@@jacket0564No. Actually this band is more Pink Floyd then Pink Floyd , I’ve seen BOTH Bands live, and Brit Floyd comes MUCH closer than Pink Floyd ever did to the true songs on the Albums. You can tell these boys have done their homework, put in the practice, and spare no EXPENSE!!

This was me exactly in 1977 when I bought Animals, and couldn’t stop playing it on my turntable. I love this album so much.
Dogs is my all time favorite song, heard it when Brit Floyd was in Skien, Norway 2013 (i think)... I heard the song when i was 3 years old, cause my dad loved it.... I got the tickets for my 30th birthday, me and my dad wnt together, and it was a very special evening for me.
I love Dogs, and this version makes the hair stand up on my neck. Never have I heard a more amazing version of this song!! Can't wait to see them at Hershey Pa!!

I’m not big on tribute bands but you’ve changed my perspective on them, literally sounds perfect, the voices are incredibly close and the guitar sounds a lot like David, I’m honestly blown away by the amount of respect and talent that these guys have
The first time I saw them I didn't know a thing about them and my expectations were low. My friend and I were both amazed at how good they were and I like how they play mostly note for note, the way we're used to hearing it on our stereos. I've seen both the Brit and Australian Floyd several times....both are very good bands.
Can't wait for these guys to come back near my home town again. They are truly amazing!

With the "Dogs" here, BRIT FLOYD proved their title once and for all - the best Tribute-band ever existed. They are not Pink Floyd successors, on contrary, they are true lovers, fans and guardians of their music, the most powerful carriers of the Pink Floyd's flame.
That is why I pledge for all those who, up to now, maybe misunderstood the true meaning of the Tribute-music creation, to encourage Brit Floyd in their work, more to that - to properly guide them into a future, so that we can at least have a chance to prolong live-enjoying one of our dreams, despite the fact that Pink Floyd is an untouchable rock greatness.
Srecko Zitnik very true, seen them twice now and already booked my third ticket for next March. they're the best BAND touring right now, not just best tribute/cover band and I'm thankful they exist

I hate to say this but if you listen side by side Brit is actually better than Pink Floyd. David Gilmore is the Bomb when it comes to the ax but Brit has gelled the sound to perfection!

I was at last night's show in DC with my bro. Hearing Pigs on The Wing 1 and Dogs in its entirety absolutely made my night! The rest of the show was equally mindblowing! I look foward to checking out Brit Floyd again sometime! :-)

thewordofgord yep, the guitar work especially in this song is terrific and wonderfully performed by Bobby. Many a person I know doesnt appreciate Animals as I do and it gets overlooked in favour of the 'main line' Floyd recordings, when it is in fact a great listen and watching the Brits perform it you get even more inside info on the compexity of just this track. Brit Floyd again at the extraordinary best..........

I've been a Pink Floyd all my life and seen them in concert many many years ago. I have a mentally handicap son who is now in his late 30's who always loved the music I listened to. Well to make a long story short he called me and asked if I ever heard of Brit Floyd?. I said nope. He sent me a youtube video and I was impressed. My son who has aspergers asked me if we can go see brit Floyd when they come to Vancouver Canada in July? I bought tickets to take him but really nervous because of his sickeness can't take crowd's . This is his first ever concert and I'm counting on you guys to make it a highlight of his life.

we couldn't go my son ended up in the hospital for 4 months, i had to give the tickets away. we did watch them in the hospital though on you tube, there great. The buddy I gave the tickets to said he was blown away,
Awesome... I would say perfect, it's a pleasure to watch your shows (we are a Pink Floyd tribute band, and we honestly say that at the moment you are probably the best Pink Floyd tribute worldwide). Great!
Brit Floyd is simply amazing. They are SOOO much more than simply a "cover band".
Lots of folks here are commenting on this performance of "Dogs", but it can't be extolled enough. BF's ability to exactly reproduce the original studio tracks - including every subtle nuance and with perfect instrumental intonation - is on full display in this performance. From the dual guitar leads to the pitch bending on the keyboard solo, it was like witnessing the original recording being made.
As incredibly awesome as Pink Floyd was (and, to some extent, still is), Brit Floyd is almost better. They deliver the songs we all fell in love with exactly as we remember them - note for note, with virtually no deviation from the originals. That's something you can't even get from seeing the original band perform.

god damn, this "dogs" is just insanely good. the telecaster use for original replication, the tone, the laughs on the background... just insanely. if i hadn't listen pink floyd's at least 2-3 albums a day, including animals, i'd thought that this is the original recording...

My god this was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Dogs is probably my favorite song from Animals and they performed it 110% because it sounded so awesome! The guitars, vocals, percussion, and keys are spot on! Well done Brit Floyd!!!!

Thank God that Brit Floyd is keeping the Pink Floyd, name and legacy alive. Pink Floyd's albums will live on forever as masterpieces, unfortunately, we will never see the band play their music live but seeing Brit Floyd is as close as we'll ever get. As far as I'm concerned this is pretty damn good and I'll take it.

I've been to two Brit Floyd concerts in Amsterdam in 2019 and 2022. I hope I will be there again in 2023. Unfortunately on both occasions they didn't play Dogs.
I saw these cats in Chicago 3/15. They were amazing, if they come back next year or year after year I'll be there. I'd be nice if they played "Animals" in its entirety; my favorite Pink Floyd album.

Saw them perform Dogs in Durham this past weekend and it was absolutely breathtaking and depressingly awesome (only made more depressing by the clips from "Plague Dogs" on the screen)!! Brit Floyd really does justice to these amazing tracks! Looking forward to seeing them again. :)

I have seen them in outdoor venues and indoor venues and for me indoor venues are better. but they need to big enough so they can have all their props/gear lasers etc..

Rob Hernandez It was an awesome show. I unfortunately got into Floyd back during the summer of 95, right after the last Floyd tour. Been lucky enough to see Waters all the times he came to MI, but never got to see the awesomeness of a Floyd show. But these guys came pretty damn close. They did Pigs on The Wing and Dogs, but I would've loved to see them perform the whole album.
Paul Floyd You will probably have a chance in the future, because i think they will be doing it again if not animals maybe another album.
