As someone who has followed Floyd for more than 50 years, I still sometimes tear up at the end of this album..........just wonderful,wonderful music.

Pink Floyd has always been my favorite band, and this new version of them is absolutely awesome,,, I lost my only chance to see the original band in person, as I was bribed by my parents to not go to the concert I had a ticket for, I guess because I was only 13 and going alone,,, they talked me into a Red Lobster dinner,, ugh… tricked by my stomach’s desire for the “ sampler platter” 🙄… it is one of my regrets in life,, but Brit Floyd is such a fantastic band, at least I can watch their show here, and I try to catch it every time our local PBS channel has it on! ☺️🌈🥰💛🧡❤️💚💙💜

I think they have been prerecorded + corrected. The singers's voices sound way too perfect too in all pieces...they must be using real time auto-tuning or a similar plug-in tool, nowadays everything is an illusion
@@juanguitarbluesrock2695 there is of course postproduction work because you need to readjust volumes of different mics and what we hear is certainly better quality that what the crowd heard but I don't think they used autotune. They are just good.

IMO their best lineup across the board. This show was magnificent showing them at their very best. It's 2024 now and I've seen them 6 times since they started touring. They are a bit different now but I'm still a huge fan.

I saw Brit Floyd last year (2018). It was truly unforgettable. The entire show - performances, sound, and lighting - were nothing short of spectacular, live. These Pink Floyd songs are so meaningful and timeless, and Brit Floyd conveys the power of them magnificently.

Over the years I've attended thousands of concerts, and in 1975 I saw Pink Floyd perform a great show in Seattle Washington. For the songs, lights, sound, and pure excitement of a live performance, that Pink Floyd concert remains unmatched. With that said, Brit Floyd does a wonderful job of bringing back all those attributes of the original band. Therefore, if you have an opportunity to see Brit Floyd perform, don't hesitate. Get your tickets and enjoy the show. You'll never see anything like it.
I have seen PF 5 times starting with DSOTM. I saw this show at Red Rocks. I thought that is was a fantastic show that was a faithful incarnation of Pink Floyd.

Just saw them at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. It was one of the best live shows I have ever seen. They sound exactly like the albums.
Last 5 minutes has to be the best ending to any album ever! You feel like you've been on a journey.
Not only do they capture the notes with precision but the spirit and mood as well. Great stuff.
Omg what a cover so brilliantly executed my brother in law died last year and Pink Floyd was played at his funeral he loved them and saw them at Hyde Park he would have loved this too ..
The band is nothing short of amazing, and they all perform with skill, artistry, and passion...I will see them for the fourth time this summer, and they just keep getting better as time moves forward!

My All time favorite group, my 1st album as a child was obscured by clouds. I remember listening to Dark Side on my Sony Walkman way back. I was a Marine in desert storm and PF kept me sane while waiting to return to America. Now in my 50s with little hope to ever experience Brit , I’m disabled and hard to stand and walk but I could just sit here for hours listening with the lights out and candles burning.
Who Knows maybe someday I’ll see Brit.

Saw PF last time in '94 division bell tour. This brings back what is gone. Trully amazing.
Just got a tix to see them in Phoenix in June. Hopefully they won't have to reschedule again. I saw PF live in Phx (Tempe, actually) in 1973 for the DSOTM tour. That'll be 50 years ago in Sept 2023. Whew! It's so great that there's still such a demand for their music that a COVER BAND can do a WORLD TOUR every year to sell-out audiences! I drive some rideshare and it always surprised me that kids today LOVE this music. There's something truly timeless about it.

What gets me the most is the transitions between the songs, Us and Them and what follows. Especially, especially, the move from Us and Them into Any Colour You Like. Wow. That's the best section of music of all time (for me). Sadly, there was not, nor has there been since, any piece of music like this, even from Pink Floyd.

If you haven't seen Brit Floyd live you have missed out on an incredible "almost" Pink Floyd experience. I have read that David Gilmore himself has seen Brit Floyd live and was quite impressed. In 2023, Brit Floyd is celebrating 50 years of Dark Side of the Moon, which I have now seen them do twice. The setlist on the 2023 tour includes Pigs from the Animals album, my favorite from that album. If I were to have an issue with anything from this last show is that they did the Dark side... version of Money, rather than 7-minute 'Pulse' version, which they used to do. The light show has expanded each of the three times I have seen them live over the past 7 years or so. On Shine On You Crazy Diamond, every time they sing the words "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", the lights around the wheel glitter and sparkle gold as they spin. It's a bit blinding. The lasers on One of These Days are a sight. Go see Brit Floyd this year even if you've seen them before.
Had tickets to see Brit before Corona Virus hit. Now have to wait til Aug. 2021. Still can’t wait, hope they’re as good as everyone says. I spent the xtra cash for “ meet and greet”.

Coming from someone who has sen the real Pink Floyd many years ago, these guys are absolutely unbelievable. I see no possible way of replicating the Floyd sound any better than they do. Can't wait to finally see them live in a few weeks!

Rob, the show was incredible. Above and beyond my expectations! 3 hours of near perfection. Aside from the real Floyd, there is no possible way to recreate their sound any better than Brit did. Hands down.

I have noticed that the indoor shows are better due to the lighting effects.
I have seen them 5 times indoor and outdoor and by far the best shows are indoors. Here in San Diego Ca they finally found the perfect venue for them IMO
they have played there twice already and i hope they keep coming to this venue.
The sound is perfect.
I was fortunate to see the real floyd back in 94 (the division bell tour) and have seen Roger Waters twice more recently the wall tour.
You could say i am a Floyd junkie haha.

Yes, it was indoors. Saenger Theatre in Pensacola, Florida. 2000 seats/ 100 years old. P.S. I saw Floyd in Philadelphia in '94 also!!

I have been privileged to see this group perform LIVE, yes LIVE, on two occasions and they are that good! I would go as far as to say they are Perfect! If you don't believe me, go and see and hear for yourself. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
What a great live rendition of our loved Pink Floyd. Perhaps we Brits didnt tell them enough how they enabled us to grow and install a sense of rightness. I'm sure they must have suffered a severe backlash for their superb contribution to humanity.

Seen Pink Floyd at Rupp Arena in 87. I was hooked on Floyd. I've seen this band 7 times in the past 3 years. They aren't Pink Floyd, but they are as close as you'll ever see again. Just seen them last night at Indiana University.

Seeing them tonight in San Francisco. Can hardly wait. Their vocals are live, and damn near perfect.
Phenomenal performance of the best album in history. Saw BF recently at Radio City in NYC. Was blown away with how great they were and how great they sounded. Never saw the real band perform. I almost feel like I have now and can die happy.
i always come back and listen to this over and over again Brit really nailed this, and i am even more convinced that imo this album by the great pink floyd is the best album ever made,when you consider is was made in 71/72 and the techno know how was pretty much basic back then to todays techno...is really is and album second to none ( imo )
