The dude's story was probably just some sort of big cat.

Came here to check how many people were skeptic about the dude's story and seems like I'm not the only one XD I experienced something similar, heard a female scream in the middle of the night and it scared the crap out of me(I lived in the middle of the woods) and then when I went outside and looked around with a flashlight, saw it was a fox right next to our house. It made the same scream just when I directed the light at it. It was still hella scary tho, and I'm not gonna say the dude didn't experience something paranormal. Just saying many animals make sounds that sound like screams

so the guys story was just a Iberian lynx. they live in Spain in woods and forests. go look up Iberian lynx sounds and its exactly what he was describing. it would also explain the dogs timid behavior that night.

I've had creepy things happen and I feel it's possible its ghosts but they could also be explained with something else. Still creepy tho...

i’d say that guy heard a fox screaming. there are loads where i live and it’s honestly terrifying sometimes because they sound almost exactly like a little girl or a woman screaming. it probably just didn’t know they were there and was calling to another fox

While I was standing on my balcony at two in the morning looking for my cat there was an unerving scream. I thought a woman was being attacked then i saw it , a red fox screaming at my cat that was hiding in a pinetree. My whistling scared the Fox away and my cat bottled for the house and survived another day.The end.

Pretty sure Alex heard a mountain lion, a fox, some animal. I've physically seen a fox in my woods do it's screeching and it does sound like a woman. I would be scared too if I didn't know the certain sounds animals make.

She most likely saw the apparition of Dona Petronilla. She's the well known spectre that when living cursed the land that became La Feliz, the area Griffith Park is located.

I have a suggestion for unsolved supernatural series.. The 'Nale Ba' case from Bangalore, India. It gives me chills.
And for true crime.. 'The Noida Double Murder', which to this day is unsolved.

I remember when Sam and Colby went to Griffith Park. Ugh....so creepy

When I was 8, I used to have frequent nightmares which is why I used to sleep with my elder sister. I remember this one time that only me and her were home. We went to sleep and after some time those nightmares started. I would normally get up with a shot and wake someone up and cry but this time I couldnt. The nightmare was like only a black screen with like white sprinkles over it as if its white blood.. then I tried to move and do anything to wake my sister up but right then I felt someone say "shut up and go back to sleep" right in my ear. This was from the opposite side of where my sister was sleeping. I silently cried myself to sleep. Next morning I told my parents about it and they like took me to some priest or something and he did something (if I start that, it'll be too much) and since then it never happened again.
This is my ghost story.

I’m wondering if that female scream could’ve been the sound of an Iberian Lynx. Like the mountain lion, they too have a scream that sounds eerily like the shriek of a female human.

i never understood why people always seem to prefer loud noise to block out spooky sounds when they're in a spooky place. if i'm in a place that could have that vibe, i want to be able to hear _everything_ so i know exactly what is happening around me

The scream was quite likely an animal or a bird. They all come out at night time to hunt. You'll be surprised how many animals can actually make human like sounds.

This is why you dont go through a forest in the dark....its like setting urself up for something creepy

I have a shadow creature thing that has been following me almost my entire life. I thought for a while that is was just crazy but one day a friend of mine said she saw it too. I'd never told her or any of my other friends about it at that point and i'd seen it the same morning. I still see it to this day and it still freaks me out.

She could have seen an angel trying to scare her away from the coven. That poor girl has no idea what she got herself into

Alex most likely heard some sort of bird. Idk why one would assume that, while out in the wilderness at 3am, a woman would be screaming right behind them yet they could not see her

About 12 years ago, I was a security officer for a Florida condominium.
These were older buildings, with older tenants.
There was an HVAC room that I hated because of the noise and the feeling I got when I walked inside it.
I also worked night shift.
During one of the patrols, I smelled something foul like rotting meat and sour milk that stunk up the entire halfway.
After I turned a corner, I saw a large morbidly obese person in front me with red stains on their chest, reaching out for me.
Revulsion and terror made me stumble backwards and I looked up to see it was gone.
The smell and a putrid mess was the only thing that was left.
I pulled myself up from the floor and tried to find the person, but they had disappeared.
I cleaned up the mess with a mop and bucket, but the stink was still there.
Morning shift came ro relieved me and I noticed he was sniffing around.
I waited to set off the older security guard would say anything related to the event.
The only thing he said was, "I'm glad you cleaned up that mess"

If you're in the woods at night and you hear the same type of shriek multiple times, it is probably an animal. Foxes are a great example of a nocturnal animal whose shrieks could easily be mistaken for human. Owls sound less like human screams, but it could still easily scare you if you don't recognize it. Being on edge afterward also causes your brain to make connections that are based more in emotion than logic. If this turned you from being a skeptic to being a believer, you perhaps were not as much of a skeptic as you thought.

My bf and I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom
And as we walked out and whispered to each other we heard a woman screaming in the house
It was loud but at the same time mute it didn’t echo
I was the only girl in the house and no one was home except for me and my bf
We ran into my room locked the doors and just went to bed

I was home alone one day with my cat, I noticed the bathroom door closed and just ignored it. As I was walking away from the bathroom, I heard a woman scream from the bathroom as if she was being murdered. I said NOPE and walked tf out of the house.
There was another time, I let my dog in the backyard and the back neighbours had their light on in their backyard so I couldn’t see my dog. I went to turn off the light to the basement so I can see my dog better, and as I was walking back to the door to go check for my dog, I heard the light switch click and the light turned back on... again, I NOPED outta there... I think my house is haunted

Fun fact: mountain lions make a call that is eerily similar to a woman's scream. (That said not sure if Spain would have Mountain Lions, maybe an illegal pet?)

Story 2 is just a guy admitting he and his friends heard someone clearly in need and ran away.

One time when i was 3-5 years old i wold always say there the man with the red curly hair staring at me, my parents would never ever see him and one day my mom and dad had a bunch of friends over and they went to the attic and found a chest that they've never seen before. They opened it and it was a lock of hair with civil war notes apparently the dude was a confederate soldier. Another story at that house was both of my uncles stayed over at completely different times and they both said they'd never come back to the house again and they never came back they never set foot in the house because of what happened those nights. I have another story but its more weird than creepy. So my uncle died and my aunt was very sad and i reassured her at only 6 or 8 that he was going to heaven and i saw him going to heaven , keep in mind i really didn't know what heaven or god was back then.

I had a similar experience at my sisters house one night i heard a female shrieking out of nowhere outside the computer room it was also 3 in the morning it scared me so much at the moment i turned off computer and ran upstairs

Forests and ghosts go hand in hand. Here in Africa our folks always tell us never go to the forest before daylight and never be there after 4 pm. They told us spirits live their. Thought it was some old wives tale now am here at you tube and am seeing dozens of stories of forest or spirits living in the woods now i believe
