Hello, thank you for your video. It helped me get ideas on how to fix my latch hood problems with a Toyota Matrix 2014. I have saved about $150 in labor. No material change. With a little assistance from my wife, what a feeling of success when we fixed the hood latch issue. Thank you.

This video helped me to understand how to fix my hood latch. Latch was not unlocking and cable was good. Knowing about the secondary latch/locked and how it worked allowed me to figure out just what was wrong with my Prius Prime latch lock and how to fix it

Mine is stuck closed now. I wish you would have done a video on how to get
that latch open ? Good explanation on how the latch works tho, which is a good
starting point. I have seen videos where guys stick a long screw driver in the thru
the front grill. Maybe I can try that, but not to sure where to put it ?? Like your
presentation style and clear videos.
