- This was my first time ever drifting at a new track far away from my home track with the DriftStang! I ended up pulling a trailer behind the drift car and drifted 3 different tracks over the weekend. I took passengers, tried out my new carbon fiber racing helmet, and pushed my Mustang and my skills to the limits!
I went from Raceway Park NJ to Pocono Raceway, over 140 miles each way towing a 1500lb trailer! I got to experience the Tricky Triangle and all of it's glory getting up to 80mph drifts and learning how to utilize the clutch kick and not just Ebrake all of the time.

The next video was supposed to be “How to rebuild your entire front suspension of your car” but the sub 0 temps and snow have me stuck inside so here is a drift video everyone has been asking for!!! I can’t believe the DriftStang made it there and back and drifted 3 days!
So now I will get back to working on the Del Sol for the next video! Right now I’m about to take off to Canada for my Toronto meet up!!! Fingers crossed this plane safely takes off and lands in this blizzard!

Hey Chris, i just wanted to say that how big impact finding your channel was in my life. It was a sunny afternoon, i went home, had a long and rough day. Decided to open KRplus, and see what i have in my front page. I saw your video, it was"How to change your Radiator" or something like that. At the time, i didn't know much about cars. I knew the main parts of car but still kinda nothing. I decided to watch your video and see whats up. At the time i was like "omg how good can KRplus tutorials be" and checked out another video. Today i will show you how to diagnose your toast for crustiness and show you how to apply butter using common tools that you can find in your garage. Now i went and rented this impact-gun-butter spreader from my local hardware store but don’t worry. You can do it without any specialty tools just as good, and I will show you both. All you need is a toaster, a slice of bread, some butter, a knife and of course soapy wooder. Let’s get right into it.

Chris has the only “obtainable” drift car series. I see a lot of cars on KRplus and Instagram where they pour tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars into the perfect drift car, but this seem more normal, and introduced me to being able to get a project car and drift it at clubs without having everyone just drifting the best because they have the biggest wallet. Huge thumbs up! 👍

If you ever have trouble drifting, just visualize a giant crowd of people where your target point in the turn is, the mustang will take care of the rest on its own

You should add a turbo in your driftstang
Supercharger
A supercharger is good but if you want to know a turbo is a recommendation for drifting, most drifters like using a turbo since it does give a lot of power in the engine, it does get hot but at least you got ac. Also a turbo is cheaper than a supercharger.
But supercharger driven by belt and if going on slower wider turn or drifting at lower speed it will still give power

Mr. Crazy it was a while ago, mid drift season last year. Probably June-ish? Chris always posts on his Instagram story when he’s actually going drifting!

Man I actually have a 1997 4.6 GT manual convertible, same color being dropped of tonight that won’t start 😂. This channel is a God send thanks Chisfix for all your hard work. I’m late to the dance but extremely happy for your success. What a hell of a ride with the driftstang. It all came together in the end with hard work, perseverance, discipline. The ending was like a great storyline payoff PPV in wrestling.

Great to see you did not forget to bring blinker fluid. You never know when those need to be filled up and if you run out while drifting, it can really ruin your whole day!
This is a really really good video for new drifters to watch. I'm sure its frustrating for people to watch these videos where some kid with an SR 240 or an e36 absolutely kills their "first drift event" when in reality they have hundreds of street drifting hours under their belt. Thanks Chris, for showing what real progression looks like! Seems like you are getting to the point of requiring more power to continue advancing your skills. Looking forward to what comes next!

@@toddjamessusag bmws dont break if you maintain them. I have a E46 325xi that I swapped the bottom end from a 60k 330i aka it had a M54B30 instead of my M54B25. The car has 150k since the swap when I was still in high school 5+ years ago and she has never given me any problems even though I go to every autox and grass roots rally event I possibly can. My secrets? change the oil every 2k if doing hard driving or 5k otherwise and always make sure to keep her topped up on every fluid.
Also dont money shift it like I did which is why I had to swap the bottom end and all the valves. BMWs are really as reliable and cheap as hondas if you know where to get parts from...at least the E46's are.

I believe older Mustangs are more gentle towards crowds than the 5th and 6th gen Mustang
completely unrelated but when I was 13 i worked on things from household appliances and lawnmowers all the way to cars. Ive been tinkering and fixing stuff ever since my hands were big enough to wrap around a ratchet. Then i found your channel and even though i had pretty extensive knowledge about cars, you still bring new things to light that even a passionate mechanic didn’t know. Its also very funny that when i was in auto parts stores they would always look to my dad at first, but then I would be the one to start talking about the part i needed. Their eyes would always go wide.

Easily this is on my top#3 Chrisfix videos, even though I didn't like that much previous drifting videos, I could feel all that excitement.

each has their pros and cons. Turbos have more power at higher rpm, but a lag at the lower. The turbo needs to spool up while the charger set's in at low rpm. The turbo gives u a punch and the charger, a smooth linear power. In other words.. No lag, but drag = supercharger No drag, but lag - turbo
