- At this drift event, I took subscribers for ride alongs in the DriftStang to raise money for charity. Each ride was $10 and we raised a ton of money for St. Jude! It was so much fun to see each persons reaction when I flicked the car sideways for their first time! The DriftStang itself did great with drifting for a total of 24hrs and over 100 miles over the three day event. I had a blast taking all the ChrisFix fans for a ride in the car that they saw get built on KRplus!

You know...it is impressive that the Driftstang could just crush run after run, for 8 hours. That's roughly a run every 10 minutes.
Also impressive is that you Chris, were in physical shape to do that, for three days.
Then there's the editting of this video. The cuts are really well timed, the sound quality is there, everything just feels natural and well produced.
You have put a hell of a lot of work into this, and it is all being noticed. Damn well done.

Hey there Chris, I really like your work. It has inspired my son and I to build our own driftstang. It just so happened my neighbor had a 97 GT parked in his drive way for years. My son fell in love with the car and always talked to my neighbor about it. Well he ended up selling it to us for 1000 bucks last year. It didn't want to start, imagine that after sitting for 10+ years. It ended up being the fuel pump and filter. Your videos were great in the process of getting it running again. Since then we have taken it out and burned some tires off, good fun but not quite drifting. The front end is super spongy, the e brake was spent already and the transmission is set up for drag racing with a stall. So Jacob, my son is a chip off the ol block. He loves fixing things and working on stuff. He's 13 and I thought the GT would be a bit much for a first car so I decided to make it a track car only.
So far we have replaced the fuel pump/ filter, dual calipers in the rear, hydro brake and that's about it, Jacob also gutted the interior. We are trying to follow what you did with your driftstang but track car only, more power, roll cage, maybe turbo. We still have a long way to go. Was wanting to ask you questions about our project. Oh yeah, my name is Kris too, just spelled different😉. My son Jacob is a huge fan and made us fans too.

Thank you for this chris. This hits close to home for me because, I was told by a doctor that I had bone cancer but under further inspection I had mitosis ossificans. My mom was also told she had skin cancer but it turned out to just be a skin tag. My nana also had cancer but survived. Thank you Chris your a great person

Those 4.6 2v motors are a beast. I’ve got the same one (except PI version) in my ‘01 GT with 150k on it. Runs flawlessly!
Oh boy, that tire bill is gonna double after you install that blower! lol. It will be twice as much fun too. That was a real nice thing you did and the Driftstang took one hell of a beating for that event! Not too shabby at all only burning up a coil pack for such abuse.

Youre so amazing dude, ive always wanted a drift car and have been really interested ever since i was playing with a hot wheels car as a kid and it clicked on how drifting worked haha. I really love what youre doing and how you are helping out so many people like the charities and taking people on really fun rides with their idol to make their days. I really love your channel and i actually found it randomly recommended to me for how to change your oil and ive just loved your personality since. When i soon get a car, turning 15 in a little over 2 weeks, so i dont know how long until i get my car lol 😅 but when i do get a car i know youre gonna be the main guy i go to for anything i need to know about how to fix it up because i might get a junker and fix it up myself so i can really understand the car much better. 2. How to super clean the interior of your car
3. Drifting and Drag racing a Supra for the first time
4. How to engine swap a car.
All of these are just suggestions, I am simply a bored teen who watch these videos because they make me go WOW!
And the Supra? 1000hp+ because you can never have too much of fun.
