Hello, it’s Claire!
When I first met my cats, I couldn't have imagined that they would fill my life so completely.
Before I met the cats, I was just living in front of a computer, expecting to end my life that way.
The cats brought a completely different life and a completely different purpose.
I believe that everyone who lives with cats probably feels the same way.
I hope this story of the cats who have come into our lives brings comfort to all of us.

안녕하세요 크집사 입니다.
처음 우리 야옹이들을 만났을 때만 해도
야옹이들이 제 삶을 이토록 가득 채울거라고는
상상도 하지 못했어요.
야옹이들을 만나기 전의 저는 그냥
컴퓨터 앞에서 살다가 생을 마감할 예정이었습니다.
전혀 다른 일, 전혀 다른 삶을 야옹이들이 가져다 주었어요.
아마도 야옹이들과 함께 사는 모든 분들이 저와 같을 거라고 생각합니다.
이 이야기가 우리의 삶에 찾아온 야옹이들과 우리 모두에게 위안이 되기를 바랍니다.

Had me scared for second cause video had TT on it you had me in tears in just seconds cause it made me think of my cat my best buddy who I lost 3 weeks ago from a sudden illness I had him from the day he was born from the time I was 14 to now at 33 so 18 almost 19 years. Polo was such a big part of my life im just trying to find my foot again without him in it 😢 pets are more than just animals they are family and friends 🧡

I absolutely agree. They're not human, but they are not "just" pets either. They are intelligent, they learn, they react, and, quite often, they initiate. They give and receive love. ... And, when we adopt them, we become responsible for their health, care, happiness and enrichment. We bond with them and they bond with us!

Beautiful tribute, Claire. I've never met your cats except online and I dearly love all of them and you as well. I've had numerous dogs and two cats that have crossed that Rainbow Bridge and they all leave a big emptiness behind that lasts longer than I'd expect. It does, eventually, get replaced with the all the fond memories we shared though.
Our pets are definitely family and we love them as we would other members of our family. You're right, they're not humans and don't really rank quite that high, but they remain extremely important to us.
I've also known a fair number of people who tried to adopt a new dog or cat that looked just like the one that just passed. The new one is never the same personality though. Your vet is right, we become like each other and a new cat or dog comes into my life, I am not quite the same person nor will I have the same experiences to share with the new one. That may be sad, but we must always remember that, like humans, all cats and dogs have their own personalities and our relationships will be somewhat different. Each of your own cats varies from their adopted brothers or sisters and a new one will be too.
May your ten cats live long, happy and healthy lives. I sincerely pray you find and help develop a cure for feline kidney disease. That contributed to my second cat's death so I can understand the importance of what you seek.

Love what you had to say. I thought, at first, 'someone who is long-winded like me!" Then I noticed your name. My real name is Randy. I haven't used it much until lately. Old age leads to gov't paperwork and medical tests and, of course, they never heard of Josh. On the other hand, I feel like I can keep myself separated between workers and friends! Hospitals and home. Works for me. Bless you and your family.

@@missjoshemmett - Hi Josh. Longwinded? Frequently! It's very difficult to be brief without sounding terse and angry, plus it's difficult to find the proper balance between brevity and thoroughness and accuracy. Besides, this particular video hit some powerful chords.
Claire's love for her cats is incredible and inspiring - especially with respect to enriching their lives with activity and her love. With ten cats of her own plus her work and volunteering at shelters and the like, she's going to see a lot of animals in their final hours, many who have not had the love her cats experience. Claire's videos do more than entertain, they educate and demonstrate. I sincerely pray her efforts to mitigate or cure feline kidney disease is successful. She's a brilliant and brave young woman.
Somehow, I expect to see a crossover (Internet meet-up) at some point with "Roy and Moss"! What a wonderful collaboration that would be! (You've been there too, so I know you know what I mean! eg: Roy's fascination with their new radio controlled clock reminds me of TT opening the portal to an alternate universe by spinning the "cat wheel.")
I don't remember if I've seen your name on ChooChoo's Story channel. If not, she has a wonderful relationship with a bunch of wild chipmunks, blue jays, and the occasional deer.
I'm getting older myself so I can relate to some of your other comments too. As I've grown older, the world has become more chaotic and "crazy." Claire's channels and those like "Roy and Moss" -- “ChooChoo's Story” -- _[edit: I also meant to mention “Mel Gs Backyard Squirreling”]_ help relax and enjoy a bit of life while the world swings madly from valley to mountain top and back again to the valleys ... .

@@ancientbutstillhere6570 - that's probably good advice and I hadn't heard it when I had my cats. On the other-hand, I've seen LOTS of cats and dogs drinking water from the side of the road, birdbaths. etc. I don't know the technical / medical aspects, but removing the solids, minerals and some of the water treating chemicals _seems_ reasonable.
I'm sorry for your loss. They might be "just animals" but they are actually highly treasured members of our families that give and receive love and affection ... and, when we adopt them, we become responsible for their health, care and happiness.

제가 이 기획을 존경하고 응원하는 가장 큰 이유는 크집사님을 포함하여 관련 영상에 나오시는 분들에게서 세상 모든 반려동물이 조금이라도 더 행복하고 건강하게 지냈으면 좋겠다는 진심이 너무나도 절실하게 느껴져서였어요. 물론 랜선집사여도 애옹이, 멍뭉이들이 나이가 들고 때로는 아픈 모습을 보이면 언제나 마음이 아프지만, 별나라로의 기나긴 여행을 조금이라도 덜 힘들게 떠날 수 있도록 준비해 주고 응원해 주는 것도 사랑이자 책임이라고 생각해요. 티티와 루루의 모험이 여러 가지로 쉽지는 않겠지만, 그 모험의 끝이 환하게 빛나고 있기를 바라고 항상 응원하겠습니다!

냥이는 없지만 4년전보낸 댕댕이가 생각나서 저도 울컥하네요. 17년 살다간 우리 댕댕이 그곳 어딘가에 잘 지내고있겠죠? 정성을 다해서 장례치르고 통곡하며 보내준게 엊그제같은데 벌써 시간이 이렇게 지났네요.

저도 고양이펜션을 하면서 20마리의 주인님들을 하루종일 고양이돌보며 지내는 1명의 집사입니다. 1살 아이들부터 14살 묘르신까지 모시며 살고있는대 다들 아프지말고 오래오래 행복하게 지내면 좋겟습니다.

I just feel the need to thank you all, for taking such wonderful care of these precious animals, and setting such a fantastic example for all who watch. We love seeing the kitties romping, and Milky being just a fluffy white cloud of pure joy, but I also appreciate the tackling of tough topics like this one.
Animals are so selfless, and when their time comes, I believe we are given the chance to honor that by making the ultimate selfless decision: to let them go in peace and with dignity. I've seen far too much now to believe that death is "the end", and I know we'll meet again one day. Still doesn't make it any easier though. What does ease the pain is seeing that same love and joy live on through others. People like Claire, Big Bro and Little Bro, who cherish every second of their time with these precious souls, get to know their personalities, and treat them like the gifts they are. Again, thank you to everyone who gives their pets a chance to live The Good Life!

아이고... 첨부터 집사님 우는 영상이 나와서 맘이 식겁했어요 ㅠㅜ 저는 사람목숨이나 동물목숨이나 같다고 생각하는 일인이고..지금 반려동물을 키우지는 않지만 더사랑하는 사람이 오래 남아서 장례식까지 다 견디고 살아간다고 생각해요.. 안키우는 저도 맘이 뭉클한데 많은 집사님 보호자분들이 힘냈으면 좋겠네요❤

Really pleased to read a comment which echoes my own beliefs that human and animal lives are equal in importance. I find it rather strange that we have forgotten that humans are animals too, and have elevated ourselves to a position above all other life forms. We haven't even been around that long at all, and we're already on the verge of creating our own self extinction event. It's almost inevitable now, and I just hope some life is able to carry on after it happens.

Claire your words are so sweet and kind, your message is beautiful. Unfortunately as much as I really want to watch the whole video, I must leave it for now only part way in.
Last October I lost my beautiful kitty, and your words on the video you watched brought me to tears. I had to say goodbye to her at the vets after 13 long years together. I watched her being born in my home, and I held her as she fell asleep for the last time.
I was there for her whole life.
She was my best friend, my comfort through hard times, and I know she loved me dearly as I did her.
Her passing was unexpected. She was always so careful outside, was never sick and very smart to avoid strangers... but suddenly she was struck with a very aggressive and incurable mouth cancer. Nobody saw it coming.
One month she was healthy, the next she was not.
I have a photo of her watching your videos. She used to love sitting in bed with me and watching the adventures of your own cats so watching your videos now brings me joy remembering those moments. The sadness comes and goes, some days I smile at her memory and others I cry at her absence, but I will never stop missing her.

이 채널을 크림히어로즈 때 부터 알았고 채널을 꾸준히 보며 혼자3- 4년은 고양이 앓이를 하다가 들였던 제 애기가 이제 만 5살이 넘어가요. 저에게는 첫 고양이이자 자식이었는데 얼마 전 신장 수치가 안좋아졌고 그러다 방광염도 걸리고 점점 먹던 습식과 물, 사료를 가리더라구요. 좋아하던 것들에 의기소침해 하고 하루종일 기력이 없고, 평소같지 않은 모습에 아픈 고양이가 겪는 크고 작은 변화가 이토록 제 삶에 불행이 될거라곤 생각지 못했어요. 고양이에 대해 정말 많이 알아봤고 공부했지만, 애기가 점점 나이가 들어갈수록 당연하게 행복했던 순간들이 당연할 수도 없겠구나 하는 생각에 마음이 복잡하던 요즘이었습니다. 크집사님은 저보다 더 많은 고양이들을 키우시니, 고양이 마다의 걱정과 불안으로 날 밤을 세셨을거라 생각하니 마음이 아팠네요. 고양이의 나이듬과 아픔을 담아주셔서 감사합니다. 위로가 되는 영상이었어요. 예비집사님들이 이 영상을 보셨다면 반려동물을 키우며 생기는 반짝이는 순간에는 그만큼의 그림자도 있을거라 알게 되었기를 바래요.

작년말에 첫째가 제 품에서 별이되던 그순간은 아마 평생 잊혀지지 않을거같아요. 눈에서 빛이 꺼져간다는게 무슨말인지 뼈저리게 공감합니다. 늙고 병들고 죽는게 자연의 이치라고하지만 그래도 살아서 옆에서 꼬물거리는동안에는 행복할수 있도록 돌봐주는것이 인간이 할수있는 최선인데 크집사님 보면서 많이 배우고 위로받아요.

제가 중학교 3학년 때 데려온 첫 고양이가 3년전에 신부전을 앓다가 고양이 별로 떠났어요. 지금도 너무 보고 싶고, 제 인생의 전부나 다름 없었어서 영상 보면서 첫 고양이가 생각나서 많이 울었네요. 아직도 생각만 하면 좀 더 잘해줄 걸 하고 후회가 많이 되지만, 지금 또 제 집에는 두 마리의 고양이가 있어요. 그래서 첫째를 떠나보내고 난 후에 그런 생각이 들더라구요. 우리가 헤어지는 걸 막을 순 없으니까, 곁에 있을 때 더 많이 사랑한다고 말해주고 더 이뻐해주자구요. 마지막 순간에 후회가 없도록 사랑을 주자구요. 그래서 저는 매일 빠지지 않고 사랑한다는 말을 애기들한테 해주고 있어요. 저도 첫 고양이를 데리고 오기 전까지는 고양이가 제 인생에 들어올 거라고 전혀 생각 못했는데, 첫 고양이를 만나고 난 이후에는 제 삶은 '고양이' 그 자체가 되었습니다. 항상 제가 저보다 우리 고양이가 더 중요하다고 하면 이해 못한다는 말씀을 하는 분들이 꼭 있지만 저는 그래도 고양이가 더 중요합니다. 그래서 오늘도 저는 우리 고양이한테 사랑한다고 말해주려구요. 여러분들도 소중한 존재들에게 사랑한다는 표현을 아낌없이 많이, 너무 많이하나? 싶을정도로 많이 말해주시길 바랍니다.

My lovely Charlotte crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2020 but until today i miss her every day and when i go to bed i keep talking to her in my mind always ending saying “thanks Charlotte for everything you taught me”. Claire you are a true inspiration for me and i can’t thank you enough for all the positive things you bring on your videos. 저도 가끔은 우리냥이들이 없다면...헤어지는 순간이 온다면 어쩌지 두려울 때가 있어요. 하지만 사람도 동물도 모두 헤어짐의 순간이 오잖아요. 남은 순간만큼은 최대한 사랑해주기~ 아끼고 서로 마음 나누며 소중한 시간 살려합니다. 크집사님 무겁지만 결코 지나칠 수 없는 가족이야기 남겨주셔서 감사합니다 ~

Was crying the entire time. I used to think that I wish someone told me how painful to lose a pet is before I started having pets but then again, I won't change the years of love and happiness that I have with my cats. Yes, it will be painful and I know that my heart will mourn them forever. Even I have cats in the future, no one will ever replace my Skippy in my heart. He is my soul cat and a part of my heart will forever be his. So now eventhough I cry everyday thinking of the day finally coming, I try to live live our days one day at a time.

Even though this video made me sad. I think this video was also very important. Losing pets and pet grief should be talked about more. I have an 18 year old cat who I had since he was a kitten and I know he has not that much long left to live. I hope people who have lost their pets can get comfort from this video.

참으로 공감이 가네여 첫만남에는 과연 이아를 내가 잘 케어하고 책임감있게 행복하게 해줄수있을까? 그런생각으로 만남이 시작되었고 지금도 저희 아이와 행복하게 지내고 있어요..뭐든지 더 해주고 싶고 맛있는거 먹여주고 싶고.. 진짜 저희 코비 빼면 남는게 뭐가 있을가 생각이 안나네여..헤어짐은 생각 하지말고 지금 처럼만 행복하게 지내고 보내는게 더 덜 마음이 아플거같아요.
