I think the biggest compliment of all of this was that Chris zoned out and started focusing entirely on singing the song and conveying the emotion, he didn't even think twice about Ferdinand's playing anymore. That's probably one of the greatest honours ever.

This is my favorite Coldplay song, by far. I don’t know why, it’s just so absolutely stunning with the transitions between the piano to the more band-geared stuff, gosh. Fix You is up there for sure, but Everglow, both the album and pre “A Head Full of Dreams” versions. Absolutely amazing.

i remember seeing this video a few years ago & immediately feeling inspired to do a similar thing. so a few months later i asked one of my favourite singers (it was james tw) at a concert of his, and he brought me up on stage to play ‘different’ on the piano whilst he sang. it was truly one of the best moments of my life, and now whenever i hear the song it gives me such an incredible feeling. if more singers had the courage to do this with their fans, so many people would get opportunities like this. also, if you’re thinking of asking someone DO IT! (but don’t hold your sign where it’ll block people’s views haha)

Chris probably thought he'd just play the chords instead of the solo. Got to say he was pleasantly surprised.
To be honest he didn't get the solo right. It was all jumbled up in a mess although he did try his best. Maybe he's just too nervous and excited.

if I had the chance of play a song with coldplay I would never forget. This shows how amazing Chris is as person. He gave him a chance to do something that he will probably never forget.

This is my favorite Coldplay song, by far. I don’t know why, it’s just so absolutely stunning with the transitions between the piano to the more band-geared stuff, gosh. Fix You is up there for sure, but Everglow, both the album and pre “A Head Full of Dreams” versions. Absolutely amazing.

i remember seeing this video a few years ago & immediately feeling inspired to do a similar thing. so a few months later i asked one of my favourite singers (it was james tw) at a concert of his, and he brought me up on stage to play ‘different’ on the piano whilst he sang. it was truly one of the best moments of my life, and now whenever i hear the song it gives me such an incredible feeling. if more singers had the courage to do this with their fans, so many people would get opportunities like this. also, if you’re thinking of asking someone DO IT! (but don’t hold your sign where it’ll block people’s views haha)
