What I love about the writing is that Michael is ACTUALLY doing decent as a salesman and manager. There’s even that episode where his branch out-sells everyone else. This makes the show much more realistic and immersive. And it also makes Michaels silliness and outrageous antics even more funny and unpredictable πŸ˜‚

Buying from Michael must be a treat
Feeling happy and just have a relaxed day
Especially when you are so stressed due to work you seek these moments

The fact that Michael straight up "went to war" against DWIGHT, outsmarted him, and won, gives me a whole new shocking fear of how formidable and terrifying Michael would be if he was like that all the time.

The Michael Scott Company story arc, from the moment Charles showed up to the final episode when Michael gets all their jobs back, would have made the perfect The Office movie.

Everyone in sales know you don’t talk business right away. Sell like you’re selling to yourself. And they captured that perfectly in Michael

The first sale there are multiple brilliant things he does to steer the conversation and stop Jan from blowing the sale. First time you couldn’t help but respect him.

As worrying as Michael can be… he is actually extremely smart πŸ˜‚ I like to think that he does silly things to make people smile and feel better about things, but in reality he knows exactly what he’s doing and when it comes down to business he shows exactly what he’s really doing. Always gets the client and the best outcome in serious situations when he has a role to play

There’s an episode where Jan tasks Pam to keep a log of Michael’s hour-by-hour activity for the day. Pam gets worried seeing that Michael appears to be unproductive all day. She’s surprised when she finds out that Cosby impersonation he made earlier in the day, actually closed a big sale.

Michael knows the best way to sell something is to not sell it, but to be a fellow person that slowly convinces someone into getting something that he happens to be a salesman for.

Total hands down the pants, almost getting you there only to flick it and bend it in half, ABSOLUTE BLUE-BALLS for a salesman trying to remember and deliver their pitch. Brutal.
Dude... Michael even spit on it first.
