I love how Connor questions Serperior not having legs and that it "floats" - Like the concept of a snake slithering around is beyond him.
Also like there aren't other Pokemon who just float.

Personally I would put the entire Cyndaquil evolution line all in F for a few reasons:
1. Game Freak literally copy-pasted the stats from the Charmander evolution line to them.
2. Unlike the Charizard, Typhlosion doesn't have a secondary type.
3. While I like their designs they just aren't very memorable to me as gen 2 is the only gen I haven't played.

I think this case is weird specifically because the middle form has more prominent arms and legs than the starting one so having the final have no limbs is a large move in the opposite direction
@@Doombacon sometimes it is like that in evolution. There are even lizards, that are not snakes, that have no legs. It is all about opportunity and open niches, not about following a dictated direction.
I'd say the weirder part is that it floats.

This leading into its evolutions gaining more confidence until Typhlosion, who is literally bursting with power and ferocity like a Japanese Volcano.

The first stages of the gen 2 starters are the cutest. Putting chicorita and cyndaquil that low just breaks my heart
I stood in my chair in disbelief when he put cyndaquil and Chikorita in F tier
Right?! That Solar Beam as well from Magnesium or whatever Chikorita's last form was is devastating! Nit sure if they can get hyper beam as well. Also, pretty sure it's supposed to take after a brontosaurus, since he was so confused by its shape. Also loved Cyndaquil.
Gen 5 starters are the worst and after that it's gen 2

A tidbit about mega evolution, the bonds between trainer and pokemon becomes so stong they become more powerful. But they have drawbacks to this. Every mega pokemon gain massive power but they are don't know how and where to use it and the evolution was too fast that their new bodies are always in constant pain. So this is why most megas have over bearing bodies and are not always happy, everytime you use mega evolution you are testing your relationship.

For those who want to know where this info is from, it is from the sun and moon pokedex and so the few mega pokemon in sun and moon are the only ones who get them

Eg: Mega Garchomps arms "melt" into scythes due to excessive energy and because of this it becomes enraged and starts to rampage.
Note: this is only true for some megas, some megas such as pigiot and pincer have no negative side effects

The only reason Blaziken is better competitively is because of a busted hidden ability and an absurd mega, both introduced after Gen IV.
Vanillia Blaziken has more attack, but is slower and less versatile than Infernape, who has a superior speed tier and a more diverse list of movesets

@@evanever Honestly though, being my first pokemon game ever I SO MUCH didn’t care about Emboar being the 3rd fire-fighting starter in a row, and even though it’s boring to do 3 times the same thing, I think that people don’t even try to like Emboar and just say "Another fire fighting starter? That’s garbage". Incineroar is supposed to be a masked wrestling heel, a villain, ergo a Dark type. Its literally riffing on the prevalence of fire/fighting starters. Also, in masked wrestling the heels are typically brawlers while the faces are grapplers, hence the signature move being a lariat, a straight-armed sweeping strike.
Meh, I would've preferred a cool quadrupedal fire/dark tiger over "el tigre" any day.

Found this entertaining cause of just Connor, that being said wish the list was based off more than just their looks! I love learning something about how certain pokemons stats can surprise or help you out.. last thing… yes Swampert rules lol always a big fan
