Quite a few of the upper and top tiers in super can either casually crack planets with their bare hands or scale to people who can do so, and he has telekinesis strong enough to hold back a tired jiren as of the tournament of power (jiren’s in that list, and frieza’s currently dozens of times stronger than he was when he did that).
So almost certainly. All we’re missing is him actually doing it.

Everyone’s praising Freiza’s VA but can we take a moment to appreciate just how good Tom Schalk’s Megatron is. There’s parts where he sounds almost exactly like Frank Welker’s iconic gravely portrayal
Hell yeah he did a great job. I nearly cried at times with how close he sounded to G1 Megatron. Of course Frieza was great, LittleKuriboh’s a legend.
@@darthmeticulous6901 I mean LittleKuriboh literally voiced the DBZA Freeza, so since so many of us have seen it it means he very much sounds like the real Freeza.
@@NocturnalPyro Only because Kai and Super happened. The original dub’s voice sounded way different, which is why TFS parodied the original voice by having Frieza briefly sound like Linda Young, only to clear his throat and that’s when LittleKuriboh took over.
In LittleKuriboh’s case, it’s not just Frieza. He created Yugioh Abridged and does nearly every character’s voice in it, and they all sound distinct. Dude’s talented.
Fun Fact: LittleKuriboh originally auditioned to voice Ginyu for DBZA, but TFS was so impressed with his Frieza voice that they scrapped their original plans for Frieza (which was for Lani to voice him and imitate Linda Young) and let him have the role.
His final monologue to Frieza is honestly one of the high points of this season, if not all of Death Battle.

I love that Megatron would 1000% destroy Frieza pre-resurrection, but gets stomped as soon as Frieza puts in an ounce of effort into training himself.

Dude nonchalantly waltzes around destroying planets like it’s another day at the office in his weakest form and is fast enough to keep up with SSJ Goku who moves absurdly beyond light speeds.
Megatron shouldn’t have even lasted 10 seconds in this fight. This should have been one of the most one sided ass whippings in Death Battle history.

You know, Megatron didn’t totally lose. He may have lost the fight and died, but not the prize. Frieza wanted Cybertron, but instead he gets to be cut in half, loses his fleet, and his cool. Megatron said he rather his planet get destroyed than let Frieza have it and he stood by his word. Frieza is now going to wander the depths of space forever since there’s no ship around to save him. So Megatron won the moral debate with his pride intact.

@@boxerheadninja4281 Well now, Megs is actually WWWAAAAYYYYYY more powerful than he was portrayed in this EP, considering that Megs CANONICALLY killed the AVENGERS of legend and even defeated Dr.Doom, and we all know, wether we want to or not, that a certain God of Thunder is MORE THEN powerful to destroy even Comp Dragon Ball, while said Thunder God is in base form, and Megatron not only killed Thor, but also the other legendary Avengers and even defeated Dr.Doom, all before the All Hail Megatron story, and this canon, and Frieza isn't all that strong, while yes Black Frieza oneshotting both TUI Goku and UE Vegeta is CERTAINLY impressive Frieza needed his Black form to do it, and even Black Frieza is scared of Lord Beerus, the GoD that Goku and Vegeta has NOT surpassed yet, and Beerus and 3ven Whis are utterly terrified of the Omni-King, a being who is CERTAINLY inferior to tbe likes of the Celestials, Thanos, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Sentry, etc who Thor repeatedly matched and surpassed, so it's no wonder that Thor could actually ONE HIT KILL UE Vegeta, and again, not only Megatron has canonically killed Thor, but also the other Avengers of Legend and even defeated Dr.Doom, proving that base form Megs is MORE THEN POWERFUL ENOUGH TO DESTROY EVEN BLACK FRIEZA, and this not including stuff like Alternity Megatron, which is basically overkill, though for whatever forsaken reason, Death Battle had low-balled both combatants, at least with scaling, and Megs even more so.
I love how Megatron was the only being to give Frieza PTSD, like Frieza never been genuinely afraid of a race to overpower him like the saiyans and now he wants cybertronians dead because the amount of power they process.

I love that this and Megatron's last attack was enough to instill a fear and hatred of Cybertronians in Frieza akin to that of his fear and hatred of Saiyans. Frieza doesn't respect anything that he isn't made to, and if nothing else Megatron made him respect what Cybertronians are capable of.

I gotta say at 15:56, I absolutely LOVE this part after when Megatron knocks him down, Frieza slowly get's right back up, groans as he cracks his neck, gives out an even more menacing, super serious glare and sends out a torrent of red death beams right after. It's like he's thinking, "Alright, that hurt. NOW you're starting to piss me off. Let's wrap this up."

Even though Megatron lost, the fact that he could push frieza to his highest form says a lot about non Michael Bay cybertronians
Well, the Bayverse is indeed RIDICULOUSLY powerful, anywhere from the multi-solar system to outerversal range for power, not just from the movies, but also the IDW comics and even manga, which are canon. And the other versions like IDW comics and Angry Birds Transformers are certainly comparable to it.

while i agree Martin's best performance is as frieza in the long run, i think my favorite performance of all time was on TFS at the table's holloween episode a couple years ago. His voice acting combined with his writing, role playing, and absolute insanity of his brain, bright us probably one of the most incredible introductions to a character on any tfs content.

Megatron's final monologue was a great call back to Frieza pretty much saying the same thing to Vegeta: "All hail Prince Vegeta, prince of no one..."
That's probably what made him freak out to the point of turning into Black Frieza.
Considering how powerful Frieza has become at this point, I'd say Megatron deserves credit here. Made the space emperor lose his cool, landed heavy physical damage that will take some pod time to repair, and ultimately robbed him of his intended prize, Cybertron. That ain't nothing.

Interesting. I grew up watching Dragon Ball, so I naturally rooted for Frieza at first, but after learning more about Megatron, I actually found myself rooting for him.
U should read the IDW Transformer comics if u wanna rlly learn more about him! The comics have a really amazing Megatron iteration.

DevilArtemis seriously needs to do more battles after this epic one. He’s not only the PERFECT voice actor, he’s also the best at animating and producing an awesome battle like this.

Oh this was a one sided stomp for sure, but the animation was very good at keeping them relevant to each other.
Anti-matter was stated that it could kill Frieza, and there would be match ups where it most definitely could kill frieza, but however it’s not just plain out win condition, it wasn’t a stomp, a stomp includes a win through minimal effort, and no way of the other opponent winning at all…. Crash vs Spyro, Ganon vs Spyro, Akuma vs Shao Khan, and etc.

Interesting as a Transformers fan, I wonder what'll happen as soon as Megatron reaches each of his 3 main upgrades 1st as Galvatron 2nd as Super Megatron and 3rd as Ultimate Megatron, if I were to guess I believe that in Freza's current state he'd be done for, but that's just my guess
Since Frieza himself said he must kill all Cybertronians, I hope this isn't the last time he faces off against them in BD. This was an epic Death Battle, one of the best. DA animated it brilliantly, LittleKuriboh reprising his role as Frieza is just Chef's kiss, and Tom Schalk nailed Megatron, especially that laugh. There were times I swear it was Frank Welker.
I would love to see a Frieza Force vs Cybertronian army fight.
Obviously, without Frieza, Megatron, Optimus Prime or any other more powerful transformer. Just the two armies fighting.

I like how the summary of Megatron’s abilities was like “oh yeah his shots can move 4000x the speed of sound, and he scales to Optimus Prime, who can throw around an oil tanker!” right after explaining how Frieza is an absurdly powerful being likely capable of single-handedly destroying a universe much larger than our own.
Missed the part where they said he can summon the anti matter from blackholes and fought a god with The power of an evil universe?
@omarsalem1219 I think his main point is that they start out by giving him all of these mundane feats for most of the video, and then drop the universal god stuff at the end making the previous points pretty worthless. They don't always get them. They only get them when they sound close enough to the official voice which I'm glad because whilst they work in Abridged not all of them would work for the actual character. Master Roshi, Beerus, Broly, Goku Black and Goku in Gogeta vs Vegito were not voiced by TFS actors.

If you grew up only watching the Funimation dubs of Z then yeah, I mean that's completely valid... but one of the fundamental premises of DBZA was that Goku stay fully consistent with Dragon Ball Goku (essentially that he always act like the kid raised largely by monkeys whos only real-life experience involves fighting and training to fight). Him sounding and acting like the Goku who fought King Piccolo was very much a deliberate choice.

This was a great episode. I admittedly know very little about Megatron, so I'm glad the Death Battle Team took time to compare the two combatants in depth. If Megatron could nearly kill Black Frieza, he is indeed an incredibly powerful foe.
He needed hax to do that. Megatron, without that Antimatter attack get's wiped by Frieza everytime.

I love how in character both of them are, like Frieza only going Golden and Black because he was getting pissed off and Megatron being more tactical in this because he realized that raw power isn't going to work
And when he realized he couldn't win, he made sure to make the victory Pyrrhic, and make sure his enemy knew it.
If Megatron were any smarter, I'm sure he would've used the Panic Bubble and Antimatter in tandem with each other

There actually is a reason for that. When it comes down to damaging something, cutting is more effective than crushing in most scenarios where you have a material that can cut/crush another without being damaged. This is because the more surface area of a tool that you apply to an object, the more effort you need to put into the use of that tool to damage that object. As an example, let's say you have a rock and both a diamond saw and a diamond hammer. You'll need more effort to be put into the hammer to crush the rock than the spinning saw will need to cut. In the case of Frieza's attacks, they're all energy based, and Megatron's body is built to withstand energy based attacks to an extent. Thus, explosions have little effect on him while buzzsaws of that same energy can cut him in half due to the energy being condensed and given a refined edge. Cutting lasers work the same way, by concentrating a powerful beam of light into a cutting tool. That same light, if left to simply scatter would not do anywhere near the same amount of damage as quickly.

I think the main reason that Black Frieza didn't just kill Goku and Vegeta is that he didn't need to. He alreadys knows about death and that Goku and Frieza would just come back if he killed them. By letting them live, he gets live inside of Vegeta's head rent free and it's unlikely that they would rush to kill him as well.

I think it goes a bit deeper than that, back in Z Goku had won and left before the battle properly finished, letting him live. While it was an act of Mercy/Humiliated Frieza the reason Goku did this is because having enemies you can fight against can make you stronger, Goku has been doing this since he gained an understanding of mortality. Fast forward to the ToP, Goku has tried to spare Frieza twice and gained a lot from it, Frieza has seen what it does and also gets it now. Because Goku is alive he is literally trillion's of times stronger than he was before, Frieza is no longer insecure about having rivals, he is happy to have opponents that bring out the best in him, and the best way to show that is to show up, slap Goku and leave him alive so that he can challenge him and get stronger once again.
