goku once upon a time could not hang with pre-crisis superman, he has since, broken into the level of being a multiversal threat, who's speed may scale to those who move faster than instant movement, meaning he's not only easily faster than superman, he's stronger than him too, by a longshot.
Let's not forget superman's "Sneezing a galaxy feat" is a long since debunked feat because he didn't do this himself, he had breathed in magical dust that supercharged his sneeze through magical means, which is outside help.
superman doesnt even break the bonds on infinite speed casually, he needs to speed up and build up towards doing this. Which doesnt make logical sense given it should be impossible to "Work your way up" to infinity. but then again, none of pre-crisis's feats make any sense so thats nothing new.
(granted i dont see death battle including these things on account of how poorly and even at times, maliciously they upscale superman and downplay goku's feats, even going as far as to intentionally edit their own already highly lowballed calculations in the first death battle of goku v. superman to make sure goku appeared slower and weaker than superman. go look at it for yourself if you dont believe me)

Wish they did this with different versions of Superman like silver age, new 52 etc would’ve been way more fair to Goku and would’ve made for interesting fights to see which versions of Superman Goku could defeat and which he could not

Having many writers doesn't mean that he will inherit all their powers, unless you use a composite superman. Generally, each writer has their own take on superman, creating many different versions of the character.

As for Superman, they just like to bring up his pre-crisis feats because they actually aren't that far beyond his current ones, but they will probably just use current Superman. They didn't actually use pre-crisis in their last rematch and it changed absolutely nothing about how unbelievably OP Superman is.
In other words, if anything, they will be using a composite Goku and NOT a composite Superman, to give Goku every advantage he could possibly have. And he's still gonna lose because Superman is Superman no matter what version of him you look at.

So really I don't see them showing that either. So really this video is just to get everyone hype over nothing. Think of it this way. Why make a 3rd round and announce it as if they know nothing of these two characters but they already know the winner as they said Superman will always win. So this 3rd round is pointless.

It's especially bad when they ignore weaknesses that he originally had and just write them off. That's just bad writing 101.

Ik how powerful comics Superman is… But why use regular anime goku when they can use: xeno goku, capsule corps goku, kid goku who broke the manga panel, 100 year timeskip goku, game goku, movie goku, goku who fuses with the audience? Like there’s so many powerful versions of Superman and the picked pre crisis vs normal anime goku.

@@c.k.7072 From what I understand, they are using Xeno Goku. Or rather, Heroes Goku; which I think is at least similar.
(I don't keep up with DB's expanded universe so I don't really know what the difference really is, just that Heroes & Xeno are related somehow.)

@@c.k.7072 In fairness we've only gotten one video focused on Goku, which is a 5 (technically 3) minute preview that goes over his abilities in roughly chronological order (which better fits Dragon Ball's story than what they're doing with Superman). Of course they haven't gotten into any feats from Xeno Goku, they haven't even gone over Super Saiyan yet.
Meanwhile on Twitter they outright mention using Super Dragon Ball Heroes; which, and I checked, is based on the Heroes timeline instead of being related to the Gohan movie.

These feats are abstract nonsense and mostly irrelevant to combat, escaping infinity means literally nothing as it cannot be quantified nor applied to battle and nobody care if he can become a doctor in 5 minutes, ChatGPT is a doctor in a millisecond, it won't beat Goku lol. It's all a bunch of impressive sounding fluff.
