This exactly. I don’t speak any Korean either and I just sat here and cried the whole time because their voices have so much power and emotion and beauty. Being able to touch people’s hearts and souls like that with your voice is an incredible gift.

Wheein must have been overlapping her solo debut and working on this Mamamoo comeback at the same time. Just shows how hard these ladies work. Even during the pandemic they never stopped.
Wheein debuted in 2018 as a soloist making her be the 1st member to go solo followed by moonbyul in the same year, hwasa in 2019 with twit and solar being last with spit it out last year

The 'Where Are We Now' performance is actually a tribute to Mamamoo's 4season 4color project, the sets changed throughout the song in shifting seasons. They also released EPs that represented the four seasons of the year, respectively from spring to winter, and have held concerts named S/S and F/W. It shows them exhibiting their individual colours as well as their rapport coming together as a group. Everything that came together all fit the WAW concept well, as perhaps a summary for the seven years they have come, and a sense of strength for the following years to go. The path is long and eventful, but Mamamoo will always be four and will always be treasured as one of the best artists and performers in the world, for they have the loyal, loving fans that are Moomoos walking right behind them.

I saw a video earlier where someone removed the music and just left their singing. If was fantastic.
The resonance of hwasa in the beginning moves you then wheein comes and makes you fly with her breathy angelic voice. Then suddenly solar crushes you with her powerful voice.

Mamamoo are not afraid to put a ballad as their title song. Let us appreciate all their music because this album are so special to them as they celebrate their 7th year in industry.
Their vocals are powerful enough to pull it off. Either way, ballads actually do great in Korea; many artists choose to release it as title tracks or solos, so it's a great choice for them. It's just that 'girl groups' aren't often known to have the best all round vocalists, so they don't take the risk. Mamamoo is the exception.

The official MV is okay for me, but seeing them sing live and seeing Moonbyul just standing and not harmonizing with them somehow feel strange. I am thinking too much about how she felt, but knowing her personality, I hope she's fine with it. She also did more lines in the album's b-sides, but ofcourse, it would be different if she also have more lines in the title track.
