When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Chess Piece” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💝

In sing he is saying how record companies and people can control their singer/somgwriters like they are puppets, and they get all caught up with having these beautiful girls all over them. And he is saying he isn't going to be one of those people. But I do like him better when it's just him and a guitar I do like sing because it shows his wide range of singing, and performing.

His voice, the fact he only uses acoustics, his look, the lyrics, the fact how the video is just him simply singing on stage alone... He is an amazing artist. That what he has, is talent, he doesn't need to make his voice "sound better" or he doesn't need help writing his music or making the tunes, he does it all on his own. He sings live exactly how he sound in music videos, he writes music for other artists. He is perfection at his job. I love it!

This new album, so far, is different because they are adding so much too it sound wise. Taking away from it's purity and simplicity and above all that beautiful perfect unique sound that is Ed Sheeran.

The difference between Ed and other artists who sing about love and heartbreak is that Ed doesn't and never has done it to be successful. He does it to let out his feelings and express himself. If you think about it the only song on + that was actually in the charts was the A team because that was his debut single, everything else wasn't in the top 40 for long if at all, but the thing is that his gigs were selling out without fail. He is so real when he sings and you hear it in his tone, the moment when you can relate to the lyrics is just beautiful for me, like this song
